Sharing my love of planner-ing! Seriously boring because I am a strictly functional planner. I don't add stickers or washi because I'm total garbage at decorating or anything requiring artistry. I am a fitness professional (Pilates, Gyrotonic, Group Exercise and Personal Training) which means I need my planner to be simple, easy to carry, and utile. I plan to soothe my anxiety and can be a total geek about pens, highlighters, and stationery in general. Thanks for your interest!

Love the new channel name! Glad you are finding your planner peace! There are so many options out there it is hard to figure out which one is best for you until you give some a try. I think 6 months isn't too bad to learn what works for you.

I have 2 of those totes! Functional and light! When I need more space that tote can be thrown in any other big tote and you are off! Funny I have that same Uni One Chubby pen!

Where are your covers from?! I don't know if you said it (if you did I would forget lol) they are stunning! I used to be a horizontal layout girl and still use it for my daily review in a large happy planner (a few sentences a day) but with the vertical layout you can do SO MUCH with it. More versatile IMHO.
The Hobo cover was from JetPens and the Sterling Ink is from SaltyKatie. The floral design is a piece from Ali Brown slid into the cover. It looks different because the hobo cover is clear but the SaltyKatie cover is pink.

I prefer a vertical layout. I do use my monthly as my future planning and very functional. I'm not as busy as you but it's nice to have the space if I need it.
I feel like if I made looking at my month a habit, I could probably learn to future plan with it. I'll keep trying--I know that it's really useful, isn't it?
@@Planner-ingPlatypus-kq6nf Since I do decorate my weekly spreads, having the appointments on the monthly helps me to have a blank space when I go in to setup my week. Also it's easier to find a month rather than a specific week months ahead. I don't always decorate my monthly so it gets ugly LOL But as I said it is very functional
What pen are you using for your headers? It writes really well - and I happen to love your handwriting!
You’re so sweet-thank you! The pen I’m using for the headers is the Sarasa Dry in .4. GREAT pen-absolutely love it!
Maybe you would do better in an A6? Since you aren't having enough space to write your appointments in the tiny space of the weeks... or, if you prefer to stay in a weeks, maybe you can do a bullet journal style and use a post it each week as future planning and then if you run out of space on the blank page in the week you could note down which note page at the back to flip to?

Very nice! Thank you for sharing. Being a Weeks user, I love seeing how others use it. Especially the ones who use it for traditional planning.
I actively seek out planner vids for traditional planning in Weeks but it’s almost always to do lists or other uses. It kills me when the person says “let me reference my planner…” and I’m like wait, isn’t your Weeks your planner? 😂
That turned out so cute yet very functional. It's nice to have a change of pace ever so often. When the mood hits you then you bring out the stickers. But if functional pen and marker works best for you then there is nothing wrong with that. I think you do a great job with both styles. I think they sell a stencil that has boxes for vertical layouts if you need help with drawing lines. I don't know who makes it but I'm pretty sure it exists.
Thank you! The super challenging part is finding the stencil that has the correct box size. I couldn’t find one that worked for the Jibun Techo-even the Kokuyo ones weren’t square!

I love how your getting more confident with your sticker style. Minimalism isn't a bad thing. You could also use more stickers maybe on your daily pages... Also, I need that closer thing where did you get it?

I am back in my Weeks for my EDC and while it doesn’t quite work for my life, I kind of love it. It isn’t pretty in any way (super cramped & my handwriting is awful). I’m also relying on my PaperTess Designs TN sized planner as the one I write everything in and leave at home. Do you only use your Jibun Techo, Beth?
My Jibun Techo is my EDC but... I haven't been taking anything with me. I do carry it when I know I'll be booking an appointment or scheduling something. But I do need to remember to take it just in case. I have a separate planner that I use for health/wellness. It used to be a redated weeks but I didn't like the layout or the paper so I made a mini disc bound. Then I have some other journals that hold other things... I'm a bit of a planner supply addict so I have many options LOL@@Planner-ingPlatypus-kq6nf
I think this is exactly what confuses me! I expect everything to fit & work in ONE planner. When I watch planner channels, it seems that way, but the truth is that everyone has different planners for different purposes. I’m not convinced I have the capacity to keep up with that!

I am working on an on-demand Barre (fitness) membership! Members will be able to access my library of Barre classes so they can do them whenever they want. I will also have 1-2 live classes per week that members can join online. I’m hoping to roll this out by September! I’ll keep you posted!

I think the “padding” on your tweezers is working against you. It’s good for not poking yourself but not so good for picking up stickers. My tweezers are the same shape but with sharp points, and I have no problem picking up stickers. Hope that helps!😉
I just tried to take off the green padded part but they don’t come off. I’m just going to use my old eyebrow tweezers-since menopause, there’s not a lot of brow to tweeze anymore 😂

Finally a b6 slim planner 🎉 with just the right amount of stickers 👍🏻 it looks like your tweezers have protective covers on them, if you remove those they are sharpe and pointed and this helps picking stickers up especially the tiny icons…. A uk 🇬🇧 watcher xx

You did great! Part of getting into stickers is just what you are doing... trial and error, finding what YOU like and what makes you happy when you go back and look at the week the next day. The day covers that you used seem to be more for a month spread as they don't have a lot of room for the number date. The little flags are just to mark things on the planner. You used it the right way when you put it by your payment due note. I'm so excited for this shop though so THANK YOU for sharing it. I love that the boxes actually fit our tiny planner LOL

I know this is not about planning but where did you get the ring on your right forefinger. I've been looking for plain simple everyday rings. I like all the things your wearing. Are they from the same shop?
Oh my goodness! I totally thought I replied to this-so sorry to have not!!! All my rings except for left thumb came from Etsy. The right forefinger is actually a tiny stack of 3 hammered rings from House of Metal Works (very cute and inexpensive). Right thumb came from Chapman Jewelry. Left ring finger definitely came from Etsy as well but I can’t find the receipt since it’s fairly old-sorry about that. Again, please accept my apologies for keeping you waiting on a reply!

Deco can go in the sidebar, along the bottom and on the weekends if you use those spaces less.

It's so hard to find planner peace. I really like the Jibun Techo but in 2023 I used a traveler's notebook system that I really liked. In 2025 I'll be adding more with the Jibun Techo system. I also have a few planners that I use throughout the year.... Good luck!
