When he reaches adulthood its his choice the direction he takes no religion will liberate you its a crutch...maybe you should look at your own inner psychic why you need something to believe in....regardless like a lot of adolescents he will revolt agianst the prevailing established order...give him the space to do so and stay close to him when possible... don't expect him to believe what you do.

Any child lost to any religion is a loss. Since Islam is the most evil of all religion systems, the loss is the worst.

He says has some valid points..However from my experience having lived in Malaysia & other so called Muslim countries as well as Western countries. There are many Muslims who live in the so called Islamic countries who are not practising with knowledge & sincerity, just fitting into the culture..And there are many Western Muslims living in the West who practise with great knowledge & sincerity..Allah guides who he chooses..Many learn from hard experiences & challenges..That's life! Our beloved Prophet Muhummad (Peace Be Upon Him) was an orphan..Abraham the son of an idol maker! Yes they were Prophets but also very human! Witnessing & seeing the darker side of life can often be the trigger of propellling one towards the light & truth..Hence why we must take great care not to jump into deciding who is who & boxing in their destiny..Night falls into day & day into night..Is that not also symbolic?

We can all feel your pain brother. May Allah swt swiften the coming of ease after your hardship. Please continue to try and keep peace between you and your son, leave the path clear for him to return; inshaAllah this phase will pass, and you will find him by your side again in sujood.

But he is still alive , so you did not really loose him.And as a Muslim I suppose you believe that Allah decides on all matters, so even if you loose him ,isn't it Allah's decision that you must submit to ? But despite that it is sad he is not with you, strengh and courage with that.

Assalamu alaikum As he said..it depends very much on whether you have a Muslim community around you or not...We live in a big city in Germany and there are schools, mosques, many events for Muslims . This is definitely easier I guess.

Thanks for the comment. I lived in a littlle town in East Germany where I didn't have access to a mosque and a muslim community. We had a refugee camp in another town close by where I could go for Friday prayers in a converted container set up but once this corona nonsense started everything just shut down. Single parenting made the situation even worse. I am glad being back to Malaysia, Alhamdulillah. Idris

    13. When Our Verses (of the Qur'an) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 14. Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn.

    * And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see. They are ears with which they do not hear. Those are like cattle, nay, they are further astray. Those are the heedless ones (179)* ---------------------------- kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZKOMqcOqZ7LYiLw.html&ab
