Junk, dry ass wood too he’s using and loved the 1 foot half round log at 1:25 he try’s making look look a full log. He had to hit 3 times
I bought the same one and I regret it. It is uncomfortable to get into a small van, it weighs a lot, and when it is loaded, it is not easy to turn, since the wheels do not turn. I will have to make a modification.

Mine has been going great for 2 years now. I store it outdoors with a tarp over and keep the surfaces and bolts greased. Seems to be ok Splits beech, birch, cherry, ash, pine sycamore and a few other species. Bed is a bit short but suits my stove as I only takes 12" logs. Would happily buy again

@@federalnoise Useable but ,not for thick stuff or any logs with twisted grain it will just stall , remember theses things are dangerous cuck an old rug over the log when splitting they can fly apart and hit you ,and i mean hit , I wish I had bought a 15 ton
I’ve heard that the blades are inferior steel and blunt very quickly. It’s a great machine if you can get forged steel blades. See Loz Harrop’s channel where he shows you the poor quality of the blades.

Does the four way cross cut blade fit other models such as the fm10
Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Both the 4-WAY Cross Cut Blade Attachment and the OBTUSE Wide Angle Blade Attachment are compatible with the FMX4-PRO, FM8VE, FM8FF Fast Fire, and FM8FFE Fast Fire, but unfortunately not the FM10.
What hardness (HRC) should these blades be and is there a recommended way to sharpen or not sharpen them to avoid softening the edge metal. I’ve been doing some research into electric wood chipper shredders and this one is hands down the one I would like to get! The electric shredders here in the U.S. are not as good in terms of quality and price for the quality.
