Let's Get Lost South Africa
This is a look into the adventures and travels of my family throughout South Africa and surrounding countries.
We're amateur photographers and have recently started taking some videos as well, so here we are. doing what we love and showing the world that South Africa is a beautiful country.

Lekker man! Will definitely visit Killarney when im in Durbz again. Shot for the vid. Spent Sunday wheeling at De Wildt near Harties. Was my first time there... Good spot for those in Gauteng.
Cool clips , cool obstacles and awesome recoveries ,what more could u ask for 🔥💪

Nice! Will these work on the new next gen Ranger? Thanks for the effort when making these vids.
Unlikely, but I'm sure Rob can take a look and we can make a set.
Always enjoyed killarney. Was nervous camping there at night though hardly slept. Also some of my best 4x4 memories. Also stopped going due to the management rules - very sad. Hope they get it back to its former glory.
Looks like a nice spot .let's wait and see about safety and camping.Great video
Thanks for sharing all the information. Looking forward to going back there again.

Enjoy your videos, thank you
Thank you so much
Enjoyed your video. Where’s the teardrop?
At home, It was just me that weekend, the wife and kiddo didn't join me.
Lekker video. What was your overall fuel consumption?
I average around 13L/100km towing now, as I changed injectors in December 2023. I was much heavier before then.
Pleattis lake is on my bucket list and now i can go have a picnic at Karkloof falls. Thanks for the video.
14:18 is that a Duster I see there? 😁
We'll take you to our wild camp if you take us to yours 😝

Love the way you explain about the road what vehicle can drive there.Looking to camp there in June.
Keep an eye out, I'm about to release an updated video on this venue.
Where are all the elephants.
Hiding in their burrows.
Devem ter mudado pra Moçambique !
Very nice place I did it when we had a lot of rain completely different to when it’s dry I towed a camper and I was there with my 4x2 Toyota and went on one of their trails but had to be towed up the hill after I got3/4 the way up
Stands are too close, they should have separated them by 200m each. Pity. But nice video
I think they're targeting groups of friends instead of solo travelers. It's not Botswana after all.
Welcome back to KZread

Which month and week did the snow happened? I wanna go to Lesotho 🇱🇸 this this year 2024.
I have done sani in a 2/4 to the hotel and had a few drinks and then went back own again Am planning to do it again with a few friends It was amazing
So are you in 1st gear once you're on the switchbacks on Sani pass all the way to the top?
Isn't the 12 Apostles Mountain Range in Cape Town?
Lekka Isuzu in your Video🤣
*promosm*
Thanks for the vid bud. I've been wanting to head to Longpools for a while. Looks awesome and chilled. Nice family camping spot without the hair-raising off roading that most wives don't like.
Nice video! I've been trying to get info on this track for a while so this was very useful! 👍
Nice video!
Thank you for your videos, just a quick one will you recommend Long Pools or Eston for a weekend camp
Both very unique. Eston has better facilities and much more to see/drive.
Nice would 4x2 with diff lock work there?
Awesome video tks
Awesome vid, a park i still need to visit
How long are u going to keep your ford ranger and have you any plans to change it?
I dont know, no plans to change what works for us.
Hi, could you please tell me where you get the Amaze - pap Thanks
Find them on face book, you can order there. Admittedly I haven't bought more since I made this video.
Thank you and keep up the good work 👍
Loved this, bru! We drove up and back from Knysna to Inhabane last week (around the same time you were out and about) and got some significant snow 60km northeast of Graaf Reinet--it was above freezing, fortunately, so roads were passable, just going slowly. Lorries had slid off or had been abandoned as they couldn't get over. We just slowed down, chose good routes in the slush, and got south and down in altitude where it was as if it had never happened, drove on to Bloem for the night! Good memories. I enjoyed your video of the ascent of Sani--hope to do it sooner than later.
Amazing! hopefully there's a few more cold fronts on the way, I need to find some snow now!
cool video, your best one so far.
Thanks very much.
Thanks bud. Always enjoy your vids. Not the warmest place down there in the valley!
Great videos, so excited to see an awesome rig being a Ranger for a change. On this subject, please tell us about your rig. I've recently acquired a 3.2 auto 4x4 and hoping to scale sani pass, are these trucks reliable for overlanding, so many mixed comments out there, would love to hear from someone who actually does it. :)
Mines a 3.2 2013 model with obver 200k km on the clock. I'm heading up Sani soon, again. Have been travelling with mine for years, very happy.
