The kit comes with a resistor I didn't install it because I removed my srs unit

I know am late to the party🎉 but as far as daily driving and some track use like drag and auto cross would this unit hold up with the addition of a gear x pinion and gear and the motor setup for trubo and 500hp and 390 torque if not what would u recommend if you where run this set up and wanted and awd set for 1998 civic coupe

I run 12.5 on 91 but if your talking about turbo should work fine done it before because ethanol is high octane and forgiving so great for making power

What are you using to control the shift cuts? I've heard the kpro function isn't the safest because you could possibly not go into gear and still apply power after the shift messing up the dogs, folks running kpro are recommending the easyshift module. Just curious what your thoughts are? Thanks!

You need to do more research on what a viscous coupler does and how to retrofit one with a crv diff because I can't answer your question until you understand more how these systems work

I prefer 07-11 crv diff and the knuckles and arms need to be 02-06 crv

@@GravyBuilt I saw another one of your videos and I got it mixed up. If I understand correctly, you removed the clutch packs and pump to install the VC in the front of the housing, and in another video, you simply replaced the stock crv diff with a gear x diff... and these are the only mods/upgrades performed when rebuilding these things, correct?

Hello Friend, excellent videos, I have a concern, the Differential of Honda CRV 02-06, Honda Element and the one you are using have any difference between them? because they all use the same casing.

Thinking about getting a crv..? Does this make it lock up sooner..or what ???? I have seen a few of these saying steonger clutch pack helps lock up sooner or something to that ??..

Yes it puts more pressure on the ramp assembly but I wouldn't use this on a daily it can make clunk noises

Thanks for the rebuild tutorial. 😅 I had some issues with my RSX Type S since I put in my fortune auto 510 coilovers. It’s probably because I had stock inner and outer tie rods and no riser. I bought the dc5 creations riser and slider and the PCI complete Tie Rods. Might as well grease up the rack and put in a new boot while I’m at it. I like the feel of the hydraulic steering. The EPS on my FD5 CSX Type S feels too robotic. I wish it were hydraulic like the FD2 Type R Thanks so much for the video.

Plus the VC removes all the OEM clutch parts reducing failure when using locking plates

The push button is through the haltech I added a relay it still starts with the ignition

You can but you need to ad a viscous coupler so this is an alternative to adding a vc

Is it better to use 5speed or 6speed crv gearbox? Just as I’ve heard the 4wd system is better on 2007 onwards crv but can only find 6speed crv’s in 2007+? Thank you

In the US 2007 and up there isn't a manual transmission
