Saratoga Springs is my home resort. We usually stay here. Love the quietness of the resort, the proximity of Disney Springs. Wish you they would reopen the SPA though loved a SPA day when staying here. The room renovation is beautiful. This is my family’s go to resort. 😊

As far as people asking why we go to Disney all the time, with no kids, I always say that WD is huge, 4 parks, 2 water parks and Disney Springs. We do something different or eat some place different every month. Plus, all the hotels we love to walk around and check out or eat at.

The waterparks sounds like a great time, unfortunately Disney ruined them by offering the annual pass to locals for an incredibly low price. Consequently that turned the waterparks into a local teenage hangout and is packed.

I remember when it opened and the housekeepers would walk across the park to their assigned building. And the wonder amenities in the rooms. Really special

The points total is interesting. when I bought in 1993, the minimum was 192 points so that's how many I have.
The minimum was 192? That's interesting, I've never heard of that and we don't ever see 192 point contracts on the Resale side.

I love Old Key West. It's my home resort since 1993. It's so beautiful and peaceful.
Went to DL two years ago. Terrible place. Cast members in famous restaurants rude and crowd is rough. Many rides down. Never going back.
Sorry to hear that. It wasn't that bad for us but we DID have smaller issues with the exact things you've mentioned. So, not a far stretch at all.

Gentlemen, you need to discuss the con of buy resale at some of the new resorts- only being able to use at that resort and the restriction of buying resale at legacy only able to use at legacy properties. Not a major issue if the buyer knows going in, but something they need to know and leaving that out is not doing your listeners any good

We've never stayed at the Boardwalk Resort, but we LOVE that entire area, have stayed multiple times at Beach Club and once at The Dolphin. Boardwalk is next on the list to try!!! I also miss the ESPN Zone. I have many memories of hustling out of Epcot a few times, dragging my kids along with me to go catch an Eagles game! R-I-P ESPN Zone We had a fantastic meal in The Swan at Blue Zoo a few years ago and the lobby bar at The Dolphin is also always a lot of fun!
I think it's one of the best areas on property and many people don't even know it exists

We stayed at AKL (Kidani) for the first time last December. We were BLOWN AWAY by how awesome it was. The bread service at Sanaa and the breakfast buffet at Boma are off the charts! Victoria Falls lounge was also a lot of fun and the pools are great. My one regret is that I didn't bring my kids to AKL when they were younger! We(4 adults) were in a 1-bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. It was huge and comfortable. The master bathroom was about the size of my living room at home :) We will be returning! How hard is it to book a value suite if you own DVC elsewhere?

Yes, that is true. In the 1 and 2 Bedrooms Kidani has an additional bathroom over Jambo House. Definitely helpful to have an additional bathroom especially with a large group!

I heard that 5th sleeper is not a twin. Is that correct ?
I've only ever cruised Disney. About 18 times. I'm afraid to spend all that money on another cruise and then it doesn't live up to Disney. And I used to use my points for cruises but don't anymore. I thought it was a good value because food and entertainment was included but I've been convinced otherwise. Think of how many nights I can get at Vero instead!! lol
That's a lot of nights at Vero!!! lol My family has found Royal Caribbean to be just about as good as Disney (better food on RC and much better desserts). With small kids, I understand the Disney cruise but if you don't have little ones, try branching out a bit plus it will be cheaper. :)
