Our house was built in the 60s and we believe renovated in the 70s, we dont know the model # or know what repair kit or parts to buy I posted on Deltas QnA page to see if they can identify the model and let me know what replacement larts would work, what parts did you use for this one?

Would a 3" flapper work better if the original is a 2" or they have to be the same size ?

Just did this at my home. Wish I'd known about pipe dope first. I used teflon only and, no matter how many wraps, had a slow, drop oozing out leak at both the inlet and outlet. Blamed it on the PVC fittings. Have bought brass fittings and will use BOTH tape AND dope. Just haven't had the heart to drain the system again to replace that plastic yet. My pump was just shy of 20 years old and totally filled with corrosion!

Exact shower valve I just noticed drip leaks when off; that I intend to fix. I built, plumbed, and wired the house about 25 years ago. Hope to find the replacement parts kit I need. Now I know I need that ball type kit. Great education to run across your lesson here. THANKs

Hey Tim, great video. I have a question about this part. I ordered one from Amazon. It came with three rubber corks. I’m assuming these are go on the bottom of the screws. This installation would be super easy without those rubber corks, but I’m having trouble keeping them on as I screw the bolts in. I can’t find any instructions online that include these rubber corks, and of course, no instructions were included with the part I ordered. How important do you think they are? If you have ever used them, is there a trick to getting them stay on? I’m sure I don’t need them, since you didn’t use them in this video, and some parts don’t include them, but I’m guessing they are useful, because they were in included. Please advise. Thanks so much!

I’ve got a deep well setup with a pump in the bottom of the well. I have replaced pressure switch and tank and it’s still short cycling. I think it’s a failed check valve that’s above my submersible pump. The pump kicks on satisfy’s the pressure then immediately gets expelled back down into the well via a failed check valve and kicks the pump back on. Any thoughts?

I have this exact valve. I have almost no water pressure from the hot side, but good water pressure from the cold side. Could something be blocking the hot side?
