So that metal pallet is gorgeous, can you share where you got it?
@twigandmothАй бұрын
It's actually a (sorta vintage?) sewing needle case. It was given to me years ago, but I'm betting something similar is out there now. Even if it is not magnetic, you can get those magnet sheets with adhesive and cut one to size. The tiny pans from Art Toolkit work so well in them. Hope that helps!

Hello! Thank you for sharing your travel art kit. I recently decided to finally go ahead and buy a Sendak and that little metal palette box you said was older is perfect for those narrow pockets. Can I ask where that came from?

I know some work day is rude of me to say, but if everyone keeps not saying what they really think how would anyone grow on YT and gain subscribers without knowing what people really think.

Hello! Ha! :) So I often do collections of different species for making posters for my Etsy shop, but I also recycle those collections for patterns that go into my Spoonflower shop (and sometimes Society6). These particular fish are for a "Freshwater Fish of the Southeast" collection. They are currently in my Spoonflower shop and will eventually become a poster. I have already completed the "Northwest Fish" and Midwest Fish" collections. As far as other collections (bugs, plants, mushrooms, etc.), most of them are in my Esty shop as posters. :) Good eye spotting the mug. :) I was born in Chattanooga, but lived for a while in Sevier county. I love the Maryville area! I'm currently in south Louisiana.

@twigandmoth2 ай бұрын
Well, sometimes. :) It depends on the effect I am wanting at a particular area. If I need the color to stay very separate with no bleed, then I do allow the first layer to dry first. (Or speed it up with a hairdryer.) Most of the time I like the first layer to be still slightly damp so that the next layer blends with it just slightly. Does that make sense? :)
