Fuck me that's crazy how obscene our impact on the earth is. I think we are at least now have places 'fixed' (there's a term for it) dehumanfy it to what it was..or better. Always making memories Mikie. I think it's an easier concept to take on when you're in a relationship. We'd be a bunch of wanderers if as humans we couldn't live in the same places a great memories with someone lost...or a bad experience. They'll always be great memories. Two sides to everything. Going back to old places you and Jess visited might prompt you to appreciate that tie with Jess and not forget some or just not think of some? Of course the other side is you might want to keep those places unique to you and Jess. No right or wrong. No well I can and others can so you have to. Do what feels right. Don't beat yourself up for not having to put yourself through that. Often I imagine it's because people don't have the ability to pick up and go. My dad lives in Perth now...I think for the very reason. Though I think party for the weather...which I don't blame him on either for....but he still now bitches about 'the cold' over there WTF ;-) Adelaide is bloody amazing. I'd live there if I could. Hills are minutes away, beach minutes away, yup zero traffic. Calm. Chilled. There's culture and the Arts and I imagine it isn't stupid expensive to live unlike Perth would be either? Day's drive from Melb or small flight. Perth is miles away from everything. Good and bad depending on what you are valuing...now or into the future. I think I'd go to QLD before Perth. Respecting the video cuts on the 2 and 4 btw. Though once I realised it I was waiting for it to happen more than paying attention to the actual content on screen lol Reckon you're done with drumming? Or just shelved for now? Keep on keeping on. And You'll be a genius if you manage to make more than one video about it. Or it will show just how fragile you still are if sand and a straight road seem exciting ;-)

Nothing wrong with the dribble man. I know it's infinitely easier to talk to a camera ergo yourself but appreciate how open you are about your and Jesse's life together. So much you never know about someone, even the people you rate highly. Though not everything needs to be shared with everyone else. You had Jess..and I imagine if you both had absolutely no-one else that would have been pretty ok for you guys. Hard to think she's gone when I really stop and really appreciate the reality of it. Cry when you need to cry. Ask for hugs when you need a hug. Won't ever think any less of you for talking more about your grief mate. It's easy to feel noone wants to listen or will listen. One side of me wants to tell you I hope you find your feet and navigate through this to a place of contentment you never thought you'd find or feel again...the other side wants to tell you to dribble on and take the wins where you can. Enjoy the moments it's not all too much and the beauty you're still able to enjoy, brace and hold on for the rough patches/stretches. 18years. 😔 It sounds like it should be a lot...for anything else it would be huh. Frikkin love..a lifetime isn't enough. Keep driving in circles till you know where to head mate! Can't point you in the direction you'll need to go ... But keep topping up the fuel where you can. When you stop. Go a bit further. Hoping the next turn brings you a bit of serenity from thoughts and grief. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
