A mix of tech, mechanic work, dirt riding, and dual sport motorcycle tomfoolery. The topics on this channel will skew more towards tech, Macgyver-ing dirt bikes, and navigating the legal system for dual sporting (such fun!). Also due to popular demand we will also cover building inspection / energy efficiency stuff on here from time to time. As some trivia all music on my videos are also written by me so check out these sites for some tunes:

So this will allow the bike to start while in gear correct? I’m looking at getting a new clutch lever for mine
Yessir, be careful when cranking it after doing it. I learned in somewhat comical fashion.
@@stoplogicmotorsports Sounds good, preciate you man
@@walkemdown4127 Always happy to help
My question is with the exception of the road you turned around on, were you on private property of town roads?
Town roads, got chased down and stopped on a marked town road
@@stoplogicmotorsports That’s bullsh t! You can ride on town roads all day long, IDGAF if they don’t like it. If the road is private, it should have signage indicating so and who the owner is.
@@vlodpgI completely agree I just don't feel very argumentative when a fella has an iron on his hip.
@@vlodpgI'm a firm believer that you attract less lead with honey instead of vinegar
@@stoplogicmotorsports if I’m on a public road where I have every legal right to be and lead starts coming my way you bet your ass I’m sending it back
Saw your KDX out there man, what a beaut! If it comes up for sale hit me up or post on here, you looked pretty fast on it. Saw the 600 number on there, hard to believe you are in the Amateur class.
Yeah a few people came over to check it out, the bike is a labor of love man. I gave up on the E start and sometimes I consider selling it until I ride it and its like putting on your favourite pair of comfy shoes.
I know I am riding a gear high since I am a bit used to more displacement lol.
Stick with a quiet exhaust ,people are entitled to peace and quiet ….if they live there and own the land , they also have animals on the land .
I did hammer in a quiet insert first thing when it arrived in the mail. The trick was I was on public dirt roads which is free game, I am usually very careful to avoid any driveways or purple marked areas.
Good point about the safety inspections going away. If I'm going to get my XTrainer plated, I better go ahead and do it ASAP.
I'm glad there's still dirt roads to find in the Hill Country. A lot of them are being paved, though. Damn, march of progress!
@@jwaller1327 I miss the road and dirt road riding there DFW is better for dirt tracks but lacking in good close road riding
Where is that trail?
So the track is twin hills out in Bridgeport Texas what we are riding mainly was the pink trail which is the hare scramble / cross country trail. There's a whole ton of trails out here that have been marked by Jamie lamance and Derek White. The blue arrow trail is for adventure bikes, the yellow trail is kind of a more difficult Rocky Enduro trail and the lime green from what I figure is the hard Enduro trail along with kind of trials ish riding
"wish I would've wore my goggles"?!?! I am nobody to tell you what to do but riding without goggles is terribly scary to me. A fella who used to be a regular there and on the DFW Trail Riders page lost an eye at Twin Hills just a few short minutes after removing his goggles because of the heat. He got tired and decided to head back to camp, took his goggles off for the nice, easy ride back to the truck. He got hit by a tree branch that he didn't see until it was too late. Be careful out there, friend. Loved the video!
That has been a concern of mine before, I actually wear glasses underneath my goggles generally since I'm blind as a bat. I'm not completely without eye protection but I do keep it in the back of my mind when I go through trees to be vigilant. I think once I get out to the eye doctor I'm going to try and order those clip-on glasses for my goggles
@@stoplogicmotorsports I started wearing disposable contacts (they are just ruined from dust after a ride) for the first time in ten years because I shouldn't stand the vibration of my glasses. I felt like I couldn't see. Let me know how the clip-ons work though!
@@Texastrailrider I'm pretty excited to get a set, I would wear contacts but my eyesight is so bad I have to wear the hard ones. Stupid astigmatism lol
Hell yeah. That thing’s mint. Wonder what it looks like 3 years later // I’ve got a 2012. Biggest bang for the buck mods were (1) Zeta hand guards with integrated blinkers & tail tidy (2) Composite skid plate & radiator guard (3) Seat Concepts seat (4) Warp 9 supermoto 17” wheels & speedoDRD // motor and exhaust will always stay 100% stock. No flapper mod, no exup removal. Yamaha has some damn good engineers. Why would I change what they intended // Just hit 14,000 miles and not a single issue. Not even a clutch. // The one bike I’ll never sell.
I feel a bit guilty admitting this but after 2 years I traded it for a CRF450RL. What a mistake.
Haven't seen you have fun like this since Walnut Creek on the RM125, great video! I guess you're popular enough now to have haters mike!
I was honestly having a ball on that track, I'm guessing you have that dislike plug-in since you like to troll Disney lol. I usually don't obsess over stuff like that what matters is I have fun making the content.
You were blocking the best line up that hill at the 17 min mark.. lol. Hopefully you tried it the next lap.. I t was way smoother and easier than the rest.
Yeah I was trying to right myself I was all hung up on those rocks, and no my goofy arse went straight the other 2 times ...
What class is this?
Over 38 am
Why do you buddies keep stopping every 10 ft
There were a lot of places that were underwater still. We were trying to follow the marked trail but I think we should have packed some kayaks along with the dirt bikes lol
Why are you breathing so labored? I hope you are ok
Had 'Rona
Where is this trail at? How long is it?
Twin hills is in Bridgeport Texas they have a TON of trails of all difficulties and what we rode mostly was the pink line. It's $10 to ride and worth every penny.
Gaaaaa!! Your shop!!
congrats man!
Did it ever boil over? I'm thinkin about getting one for some enduro
It boiled over a ton, I ended up naming the bike KITT after Knight Rider lol. Ended up the Boyessen super cooler was the secret sauce.
Lol 5:34 i heard you say way are those two behind us that was me in all black passing you trying to get back to the front
I'll admit I was confused as hell I thought I'd cut the track because there was no way I was running speeds like you guys do lol.
4:42 you can see me and chad coming out of the woods. I got the holeshot and was leading then missed a turn and got lost he was following me and we ended up in the parking area lol.
You are doing great this season i checked the standings your sitting in 6th. Before callisburg. Congratulations
What class 38 am?
Yep 38 AM E633, I am the guy bobbling over hills making myself an obstacle lol.
Im all for small businesses, innovative ideas and products. But honestly i didnt even get to the full installation before ripping these things off my 450RL....great idea, terrible design. Really poor fit that ends up with radiator and shrouds forced away from original mounting location.
Yeah it had been a long time since I cut myself so many times installing a product.
@stoplogicmotorsports Bullet Proof Designs radiator guards are much better design and fit. I still needed to modify the mounting slightly but was well worth the effort and $
And I thought my garage and toolbox was disorganized 🤣. I just did a tire change and added Sahara im not even sure that my tires needed a balance (yeah right) or this stuf is just that good - this stuff is good $h*t!
I dig it, its a bit better at sealing holes than ride on and not as wonky as slime.
JESUS Christ man tidy your garage !!!
I am mixing them in a goofy way...
HI, new subscriber here, tell us what you plan to do with noisy exhaust.
My quiet insert for this bike had been delayed, after 2 weeks I stuffed the quiet baffle in there bringing the noise to an acceptable level.
You shouldn't feel any resistance when pushing the pin out. Ofcourse pushing it after grinding the head a lil
The first one that I broke on this adventure I didn't pre grind the pin. That thing folded like a house of cards, the second one I pre-ground it and it's still broke the tip of the second chain breaker. I got a third in that day but I haven't used this brand of chain again since I sold the CRF. It cuts through primary drive chain pins like a hot knife through butter.
Your a slob
I can't wait to get a CRF450RL.
It's a very capable bike, raced mine a few times and it was a good time.
Did you replace the stock ECU with an aftermarket one?
@@David_Vander_Vliet I was trying to get smoother throttle response and deal with stalling issues with the bike. Some people have some success with just turning up the idle however I had put a rekluse radius CX on the bike and when you turn the idle up with a rekluse it messes up how that operates.
Nice video!
Thanks also thanks for watching
That was a rough race. It was so hard to stay on the track with so many random trails that people were making just to get through the mud. I'm actually in your class. You lined up on the left side I was on the right for the start.
I ended up swapping over to the left when I figured out which way the start went, good to see ya out there!
@@stoplogicmotorsports are you going to be at the next race.
@@kamdenjae1100 percent I'll be there, I've been working on fixing up all these bikes all week so far still got brakes to do and I need to be gryder to put on yet another set of tires lol.
I don't know either! But oil caught me putting around at 11:30 in video!!!
Which number man? And it was a heck of a mess lol
Meant you** caught me putting around lol. 649. I got too hot and had to take My helmet off 2nd lap. Haha
Can someone let me know where the bypass happened, during the race I only got lapped once that I could tell but somehow got lapped twice. Hopefully there is some consideration for not sending out a ton of DNF's.
Have you had any issues since then? It looks like the right side was under a little stress with the way you had to fit it.
I ended up selling this bike to a good friend, the peg has been solid after the initial kerfluffle fitting.
This is hardly a comparison video, just you whining about the Ghost XL.
Thanks for the feedback, I kind of figured that the narrow field of vision mixed with the lack of anti-shake was kind of on the nose footage wise. I think it would make a good dash cam. To be fair to your point yeah part 2 was a little bit more of a comparison video part 3 was me getting fed up with this thing acting all wonky.
Your place is a disaster
Well I had just gotten done moving into my new house but I'll take your constructive criticism under advisement.
This layout’s new this year, right? Looked confusing af
Totally new property for TCCRA I think, def my first time there. Kinda reminded me of hidden falls down in Austin.
Pics and instructions sucked, your video just helped me, thanks.
Glad it helped you, hopefully it didn't cut you like it did me lol. Good luck out there on the RL~!
Hey, that's me to your left. Lol. I counted 12 in my wife's video of our start
It was hard to tell with us all mixed in on that hill, smaller crew than the last one. Good racing with ya out there man
@@stoplogicmotorsports absolutely. I had fun playing Tortoise and hair with you.
Great riding! I just did a few laps on Saturday and boy was it tough. You made it all look good!
Thanks for that but honestly I was on the struggle bus
What a ugly area to live in
I always try to pull up past the line at red lights so the car behind me can pull up to trip the sensor in the asphalt. Otherwise, a bike will sit and wait ALL DAY at lights. Nice Video!!
Thanks a ton, yeah where I was at my turn there would be a wait for a car. I do love some back roads
That always annoys me!
ATTABOY!

I'm normally in Burleson raced n callisburg this weekend sadly the cam was out of commission
Do they still run an over 60 class out there?

What year is this KDX? What cc engine?
1996 KDX200 with a lectron billetron
Should get taller branches to give him higher crawl spaces, that big ol tank for him is awesome tho definitely
Yeah I think I need to get him some more stuff to play on, he's not a very graceful snek though.
KLX's are such a fun bike.
It's so dang easy to handle, a little heavy in tight woods but so smooth.
