  The best American vocal jazz group ever in the 1970s/1980s. They can do doo-wop, swing, blues, Latin jazz, maybe some bebop - and maybe even rockabilly? I do remember "Boy From New York City" and a cover of "Cuentame". Most memorable MT songs. "Operator" was probably one of their greatest.

  Salut, multumesc! Deja nu il mai folosesc, caci s-au ros suruburile si nu se mai fixeaza atit de bine. Stativul original imi place mult, si vizual si conceptual, dar din motivul ca foarte des, inainte de fiecare iesire-concert trebuia sa il montez si sa il demontez, asta a cauzat defectiune la suruburile care fixau picerutele de stativ. La moment vad o varianta buna pentru casa sau studio, unde l-ai montat odata si nu il mai atingi.

  @@VadimShinnik mersi mult, hmm, crezi că ar putea fi înlocuite acele șuruburi cu ceva adecvat de la Hornbach șamd, ceva care nu se “roade”, oțel ceva? Sorry, aș vrea să mi-l iau dar și eu sunt foarte des la gigs și îmi place designul mult. Se montează rapid sau durează mult? Mersi încă o dată👊🏻

  @@aTouchoClass Nu durează mult, depinde, doar de rasucit 4 ori fiecare picioruș 🙂. Dacă la comandă de făcut din material mai trainic, ar fi o variantă, caci e foarte ușor ca greutate (5 kg aprx) și când pui instrumentul pe ea, nu se mișcă in dreapta-stînga sau înainte-înapoi, căci dimensiunile stativului sunt făcute exact după cauciucurile care sunt montate sub instrument.

  Whoever did the video recording for this piece needs to give up and find another job.I really want to see Lee's hands when he is playing, and that is just not here at all. Lee is a great guitarist and the band is brilliant.

  Randy Crawford's performance of "Forget Me Nots" in her own vocal style is a treat for me. I've always loved any recording/performance of "Forget Me Nots" whether it was Patrice Rushen or Will Smith's "Men In Black" Rapping out the ending credits. I've been a fan of Randy Crawford ever since "Street Life" (1979).

  Lee Ritenour is one of the best ever to combine pop and jazz music. His great melodic song writing and playing together with the best studio musicians results in a delicious and unique experience. The 80’s albums Rit, Harlequin (with Dave Grusin) and Earth Run are prime examples of this.

  @@VadimShinnik thanks. I'm just improving my piano tuning and hammer voicing. The U3 is a bit out of tunnel, just for these sudden humidity changes. Since two months my efforts are on a Krauss 118 upright piano. I'm still listening and studying your arrangement of Grusin's Falling in Love. I found it elegant, refined and cultured. Outstaning.
