What power is that and calibre ?
.22 and low power buddy, I use the M.O.A.B system. 300 MOA to play with. 😁
That fly needs to do the lottery with luck like that.
Ha ha...So close...I was thinking of baiting a target to bring them in! 🤣
A blind man could do better
Ha ha. I was really. Not seeing impacts you are. 🤣 But being a 2.5-inch wide target at 157 yards and the tests I was running...I was very happy with the results.
@@stigcarboncreative that’s a nothing shot with suppose you’re one of those people with all the gear and no idea there’s lots of them about look up room one oh one
@@dionfox6090 It's not about the shot for me, it's about a list of things I'm making and testing. The stability of the easy-up BR chair, carbon BR Butt and foot, carbon cheek rest and riser, But also about barrel whip and oscillation reduction. As I clearly said in the description, where does the "all the gear and no idea" come from?
Put some hot glue on the connector and it will never ever move again.
Yeah, hot glue or RTV. I was going to lower the foam pad as an option too. The jury is still out. 🤔
Pretty question, zan slugs 23gr ammo, how much bass do you want to hit?
Hi, not sure I understand your question buddy?
Live and direct loll fair play bro……Wotta shot!
Awesome how it spirals! ❤
Not trying to spend you’re money but a go pro at the target end would definitely be a win get a couple of perspectives
Ha ha, what money!! Yeah I have two left I think, so what to use them on the 440 yards, but not sure I would have enough to power to pop one off...Worth a shot! ha ha
Gotta love them firebird targets bro there wicked fun expensive but well worth it got a hell of a bang.
Very cool things bro, A gift from a good buddy in fact! Ha ha. will said they are old and may not go bang... Few hits they went bang alright! Great fun!
It’s crazy mate I bloody love the math/science part of shooting it’s crazy how many things need accounting for. Keep up the top work brother
Blows my mind when you dig into the data....1.36 grams of lead (21 grain) going 130 yards off 1/4 mile...And you can see how small the log is too! Thank you brother, good of you to say! I will...440 yards hear I come. 🤣
Nice shooting mate that is such a long way so many variables at that distance
Thanks bro, You know it...Not many do. 2.31 seconds flight time and 845.8-inch AB drop (70.48 feet ) 🤟
Outstanding!
Thanks bro....Soooo close!
Excellent shooting 👍
Thanks bro! Looking forward to the crop being harvested so I can push past the 310 yards. 🤟
😯👏🏻
Boom!
Mate the flight time is crazy too shooting bruva
Thanks bro, Yeah you should see the 270 yard .177 insain flight time and drop. Insain just trying Ha ha
Does the image get any sharper?
Hi @arcticairgunner, Welcome...Not sure what happened there...Super sharp when I just made it...Umm I will investigate. thanks for pointing it out.
@stigcarboncreative KZread was showing it at 360p 🤔
@@arcticairgunner Should have been 1080!
The sesh bus is alive!
She's coming on bro!
put the fuse in next time.......just get recharable batterys...
Ha ha, Or a nail! The point is I did use re-chargeable batterys...Loads of them! 😂
We can't actually see what you're doing.
Pants camera placement, apologies for that. But it is only two wires, one black for the ground and red for live...Marked on the board as GRD for negative and POS for positive. I will shoot this again...Just haven't had the time yet.
What's the point
Fun...Give it a go bro!
What ammo was you using for this distance ?
This was old range lead pressings 19-grain halo's 😁
Lucky bunny for sure !!!
Yeah super lucky!!! His cus not so! ha ha
👍
Good stuff, Looking forwards to breaking the 300 yards!
BOSHHHHH! Keep em coming bro!
Mega bro, blows my sweed..310 is just insane...Walked in with a loosy goosy dope, but all ran true...old range lead too, got to love it! I might get on the stack for elevation..😁. But a bail dropped off a bit ago, ( what do they come in at each, 1/4 ton dry?} so might not be a wise move! 🤣
@@stigcarboncreative heavier than that! The world doesn't need a squished stig!
@@wylafpv641 Ruin the weekend that would! ha ha
so interesting awesome job. i take it with the power pack attached you don’t need the battery’s in
Thanks dude! yes, no need for batteries...However, I did leave them in and they did get a little warm so be mindful of that.
Think you need a camera assistant next time to follow what you are doing so we can see what's actually being done.
I know, the funny thing is a good mate is a pro camera guy! Me trying to keep it real I guess and not hassle him... Ha ha. I will do a part two as I'm not sure I can crowbar new footage into this vid.....Shit ton on at the mo getting the CCM product range ready for you guys! Lol..
Mine records shots I haven't taken, going to give this a try.
Yeah, super frustrating! Let me know how you get on!! Stig
That's done the trick, works great now, thanks.
@@martincook3459 Super cool dude!
Hi, Thanks for sharing. I haven't had any serious issues with my FX Chrony to date apart from it occasionally failing to register a shot. I was a little surprised at the iffy quality of the construction given the FX reputation. A tip I will share with you: If your rifle allows it try putting a couple of Orings round the end of the air cylinder and mount the chrony on the cylinder rather than the barrel. This arrangement works well on my HW100. The advantage is that the POI and barrel harmonics are not changed as it would be if the chrony is hung from the silencer. All the best, Martin
Hey Martin, Yeah I was a bit too, Just looked a bit odd. Ha ha, The ghost shot! I made a carbon phone and crony holder that works a treat, but I do put it on my scope too which also works well. Yeah, hanging off your moderator is not the way to go. I've been doing laser deflection tests..Very interesting results. have fun! Stig
No Sound? LOVE the camera pan out towards the end! Keep sendin it Stigerama
Hey bro! Sound is working for me? Thanks mate, yeah shows the distance in real time! I recon widget tech works better! Ha ha
No idea what this bloke is doing, it’s like walking into a shed finding a bloke half way through something and having no idea what’s going on.
Funny as. But I am finding it a bit odd...It's only soldering two wires..One red (Bat) and One Black (GRD) is clearly marked on the board. But granted super paints camera placement. I will see if I can edit in some better footage and stills.
Mine will not work on my pcp Airguns. Only my co2 or pump guns. 😢
Give it a go fella, may sort you out!
Have you chosen the right profile for the PCP? There is a CO2 profile that is tailored to slower fps, but may not be enough for a PCP rifle.
Annoying
Yes very!
This is a good fix. It worked for me too. Thanks for the video.
Super cool. You are most welcome bro.
get ready for the dislikes - could have been some nasty gassy lager not lovely Guinness
Ha ha...I feel ya bro...out of date by 3 years! 🤣 The only thing was to shoot it! 🤟
We did spank a Stella and Schweppes too...Coming right up! But the widget made all the difference.🤣🤣
Wasted 27 minutes. Learned absolutely nothing. Because you can do something don’t presume everyone else can.
Hi Pat, Is it because of the angle of the camera or you can't solder?
By pushing down you appear to be disconnecting the front three pin connection? Im sure the sensor is supposed to be at that angle.
Yes, The pad is higher than the connector block, The jury is still out I guess but all I know it's working fine now.
thanks, will check mine
Most welcome, The power hack is working well too.
Kool infor, thanks
Most welcome, hope it helps.
Good information. Thank you!
Most welcome bro, Let's hope this is the issue..Every shot after has been picked up! I have cut the pad down now...So testing to see if that has worked. Keep ya posted Mark! 🤟
Great shooting Stig ! 🔥🔥🔥
Great slug!!!! They ran very true...Just need a spotter! Lol First shot was nearly there for elevation.🙄
would be nice to see what you'r doing 😉
I know, I was gutted a bit was out of frame..I will edit in the missing bits and some stills. But super easy hack!
I'm going to give that a shot. Mine will miss a few in a row here and there. I'm more concerned with the accuracy though. I'll shoot through a full size chrony on a tripod at the same time and I get way more consistent readings on the Caldwell full size than on the FX pocket chrony. My impact M3 will be dead on at 50 yards, shot after shot. Caldwell will read 1,001 to 1,005 in 10 shots, FX pocket will read 970 to 1,009. But all my shots are within a half inch group. So I wasn't that impressed with the FX pocket chrony. Convenience is nice but not if it's not on point. 34 grain javelin slugs 1,004 fps.
Yeah seems to be working fine now mate, I tested it a few more times since and every shot was picked up...Yeah that can be super frustrating, I have two Cronys so I put them mid and end-range...Trying to get super accurate data is hard if one is not reading right...So time-consuming but very important. And very rewarding to get better ES-SD than March-grade ammo. The Lab system seems to be good, but super pricy! Keep ya posted!🤟
Hi, using your data the point of impact change at 50 yards between 970 and 1009 fps is less than 0.2", so well within the 0.5" groups you are shooting. Even at 100 yards the POI change is only around 1" . I think the FX is doing a better job than you think. Hope this helps with your thought process. Happy shooting
@@fxpeter22 Hi Peter, It does do an amazing job..I love it, so handy ( I did do a power hack on her) ha ha..I test a shed load of my own carbon fiber creations..So data collecting is very important to me...As you know when one or two links of data are lost so goes chunks of time. Always! 😁You too! Br Stig
Tested for 3 days...She never missed a beat!! Fix a go peeps!
Awesome 👏👏👏👏👏
Having a blast as per. ha ha
nice weather for January!!
Shot in early July that was bro, Would be ace to get weather like that..Ha ha
Way cool, looking forwards to doing this again.
looks like pro hunters won this test I have to say they are my favourite as they are cleaned and lubed and I dont get dirty hands handing them!!
They really did didn't they... right out the gate...without a 10-shot barrel line too. I was very impressed. The 1-inch hole test is up next. 😁But that isn't to say the Wildman's aren't good. But being open and honest is the best way. Too much BS out there for me. So trying to find ways of showing just pure shooting...Good bad and ugly. Ha ha. Thanks for the like comment and sub bro. Keeping it real. 👊 Pro hunter and Zans go head-to-head next.
Still not got the picatinny rails. from kraford and lypt. very pants!
When you say low power how low are we talking about? Do you have a FPS?
Hey bro, Around 480 fps. Zan was shocked...Show's us sub club can fling slugs....But keep your rods at hand.🤣🤣
@@stigcarboncreative Wow that's slow great work.
@@Tunnelrat6666 Thanks bro, I do shot comparisons....Flight times and drops...Good bit of fun...I'm going for the 150 yard world record .177. Printed a 7" group out at 270 yards so far! But that was with scope and not iron sight like Chris. Thanks for watching! Ps I've built the shooting buggy. 😁

Just shooting buddy...If they were not good I would say! But all barrels like different projectiles...Mine likes the 10.5 grain...13 grain test coming up next!😁
