  16:48 The crazy part to add on to this real quick is that I had no idea about this I knew that there were clones but it’s been some time since I watched The venture Brothers but I didn’t know that doc drove his wife away or any of that shit I just thought his wife was just a psychopath so this is all just groundbreaking to me

  This is out there but could it be Batman moonlighting (daylighting? Can Batman moonlight?) as an anti hero like The Punisher to get around his no-killing rule? The symbol of Batman is still protected if it’s just Bruce Wayne in a bear suit blowing off steam after all. He would’ve known where Dean’s dorm was because he’s a genius detective and Hank would unknowingly get to meet his hero while to the bat he’s just saving one of the Venture kids from a blizzard because it’s the right thing to do lol. I know it’s not Batman but I want it to be Batman dammit.

  In the series, they introduced the idea that time travel is possible, my theoryis that Dean from a future where he was never caught came back in time to expose himself to Hank because in his original timeline there relationship was never repaired because of how long he kept the secret

  He is hank. Hes not “carrying” hank getting the chips. Hank is just standing there bleeding, the weird/surreal point of the chip scene was to let you know its hank. Its like Fight Club, hank thinks its someone else, but scare bear knows he is hank

  Imagine: Dr ventures many years of the boys dying and making clones to replace them makes him numb to the whole thing. In doing so , he may not of verified death in one of the instances. Lets say when hank jumped from the roof as batman, hit the ground knocked unconscious but left for dead, dean gets brain wipe via OSI and new Hank clone is pulled from tank. Meanwhile "batman hank" gains consciousness and comes to observe what has and is happening with the cloning situation. Freaks out as hank does and goes all rogue commando turning wannabe super villain before eventually coming back and watching over the family till he adopts the "scarebear" persona. Option 2: AWOL Hank clone released during family that slays together.... same scenario except witnessing it's brethren get slaughtered causes wanna be supervillian It has to be a Hank , just which one? and or when Just my 2 cents

  Going off of the movie, Spoilers, id say its Hank himself. In the movie we see that Hanks bit characters are actually split personalities that can take over, as seen by them "taking" his pen then writing in his journal what they said. We see that he sees and interacts with them different. Hes starting to spiral and I think scare bear is him dealing with his darker emotions he usually buries. Hes at the revenge society because they messed with him or his family in some way in the past. The outfit is Hank doing his normal dress up and do goofy shit. Its probably not real blood stains but like him cutting open a juice box. As for when he gets knocked out, I think it was a personality that took over and "carried" him through the motions. The cashier with the chips doesn't see the bear just Hank with a bloody head. Scare bear stopped for chips because hes still connected to the main body and knows what it needs/wants and knows about the dorm because Hank does. Scare bear sends him ahead because its his own way of saying the main Hank has to deal with his dark stuff.

  Maybe Scare Bear is like... Hank from the future? I know sounds like most basic fan theory bs, but hear me out: this show already introduce concept of time travel to us when Monarch briefly meets Quizboy and doc Venture from the future traveling in something resembling TARDIS on that island in I think last episode. When doc adress Monarch as Malcolm confusing him. I mean the scene where Monarch and hencheman was send to kill some other super villain dude.

  I think Scare Bear is Hank. But not Hank. He's an earlier clone of Hank who is now much older than Hank and his mind snapped from the near death experience and the realization that he was a clone. It turned him to a villain but he can't help himself from watching Hank and Dean and helping them out when he has a chance to.

  Might be late to the party but in the Blood of the Baboon movie, SPOILER ALERT DOWN BELOW: Bobbi St Simone is actually Hank and Dean's biological grandmother, and her daughter provided Rusty with her eggs for business related reasons. Rusty then incubated them in an artificial womb he made. Bobbi had her daughter with the original Sovereign and thus Hank and Dean are potential heirs.

  The creators never really intended for scare bear to have a backstory, but the way they used him to rescue Hank and take him to Dean at the very moment Sirena was there doesn't make sense for a random character, which is why fans yern for a more fulfilling explanation. Most theories are complex involving extra versions of characters(time travel, clones/originals), but I am going to layout the simplest explanation: It was Rocco(Sirena's bodyguard/Wide Whale's henchman) Correct height and build. Has the motivation in showing the hanky-panky because it would get both Venture bros to stop seeing Sirena, and would be willing to save Hank because he sees the parallels in himself and Brock who have become surrogate uncles to the kids they were hired to protect. That just leaves the question of why the costume, which can simply be explained as Rocco wanting to break out as a villain himself, or doing it under orders of Wide Whale(who is quite astute) to covertly spy on the Guild and the suspicious new Revenge Society who just moved into town. He also chose a bloody bear costume so he can actually be intimidating, as opposed to sea lice like he is normally forced to wear.

  Knowing Captain sunshine is based of Batman and Superman, I wonder if he can also supercharge himself via sun dipping. 😅😅 Force Majuere is a force to reckon with if he can arch Jonas himself. The master deserved number 1.
