  @@LordsofBliss Michael James, renowned authority, says it actually was a death event in which he died for twenty minutes; he disputes the narrative that he pretended to die. I don't know where James gets this from, but he speaks and reads Tamil and spent decades at the ashram interpreting stuff he thought had been misunderstood.

  Thanks so much for this inspiring video. If possible, please recommend where I can locate the two books by V. Ganesh: Meetings with Sages and Saints as well as Ramana Periya Puranam. I live in the United States & have found it very difficult to find these two books. Thanks for your help & please keep spreading the wisdom of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.

  Oh how kind to let Michael know he is missed! I’m wondering about your story and how you came to start this wonderful channel. Your channel description does not say. Of course we all have the right to preserve a sense of mystery about ourselves, and if that’s the case, I respect that. I’m grateful and wish to thank you! Would you know the source book Michael used for his “Encountering Ramana” readings? I would like to purchase it in hard copy.

  The Source material comes from the following: Face to Face with Sri Ramana, The Mountain Path archives (Mountain Path - Sri Ramana Maharshi) arunachala.org, davidgodman.org and The Ramana Periya Puranam were the main sources. Only two of them are books: Ramana Periya Puranam and Face to Face with Sri Ramana---both of those are free online as PDF's. The others are also online and easily accessible @@janie-girl

According to Ramana Maharshi's teachings, being 'alive forever' isn't about endless living in the way we understand it; it's about realizing our true nature as eternal, blissful consciousness beyond suffering. He taught that the feeling of being 'sick of it all' comes from identifying with our temporary experiences rather than recognizing our true, unchanging Self.
