isn't the "monkeys typing Shakespeare" experiment only a THOUGHT experiment? It wouldn't work without infinite time for the monkeys (which would have to live infinitely long) to keep on typing, right?

This is a great send-up of late-1990s interactive voice response systems used in corporate hotlines. I'm not seeing any of the surreal, alien, "nailed-it" energy of 2020s AI.
