If you buy it legit though cisco certified resell program then dna is mandatory. Even if you buy it off gray market you may still need to call cisco and buy dna licensing if you need any of the features in dna essentials or advantage.

If you buy it gray market aka "it fell off the back of a truck" you wont pay for DNA BUT, then the box is not supported by Cisco and you can not upgrade the IOS-XE code. Even if you buy it gray market, you may still get in the situation that you need DNA and end up having to buy it. For example, you might need DNA for Netflow. Hello there. I could use some help. I have an SD card that i have store many of my work files on. One day I decided to put that same SD card in my MAC computer. IDK what happened but when I put the SD card in back in my PC, there is a .Spotlight-v100 file that leads to another file named Store-v2 which leads to nothing. Meanwhile, I dont see any of my files. My computer shows that my drive is near capacity (which is accurate with my work files) but I dont see them to access them. Can you help me? Thank you in advance. Aslo, all my files were created and stored on PC originally.

I know this has been out for a few years now, but this was a great initiative from the TMG. I cannot imagine how much time has been saved from reducing the number of mistakes, questions, and disappointment caused by spec'ing the wrong optics. Tools like this are key to building confident customers, which in turn helps sales. Hopefully, Cisco eventually turns its gaze to some of its Documentation accuracy/quality issues.

Man, I have been having this problem for two years!!! This fixed it; I love my computer again. Now why the hell doesn't Apple know of this solution? I have called them every couple of months asking for a fix. They never know anything. Of course they will say that they have never heard of this problem, whereas the problem is listed many times in their help pages!! Thank you so much Cisco Sal! Bravo!!!

I just bought product CP-8865-3PCC with software version sip8845_65.11-1-2MPP-351.loads Hardware version V02. Connected to network by wireless, get IP address, but can't bring up web interface on the phone. Is there an XML file missing or upgraded firmware needed. I can see the cisco logo in the browser address bar so it is connecting to the phone. The web server is enabled. It just spins but never loads the web intereface

Do you happen to know how this could be configured with a Cox Business phone? It doesn't have a private IP address (like the ones that start with 192.) in the settings so I can't figure out how to get to the web interface. Cox support said they couldn't help with it.

do you need to buy addiitonal DNA for non-cat9k switches fpr examples 2960 or ISR,ASR Routers, if these devices need to be managed by Catalyst Center? (former DNA Center) with cisco prime these devices just need tokens and have classical LAN/IP base sw. my assuption was that we need to buy for example DNAC-ISR1K-E-3Y for ISR1k series in order to manage it in Catalyst center.

I've just ordered one since I am doing a video rendering project that is going to be ongoing for the next two years and the rendering output speed is roughly 1/40th of real time. One tiny blackout is enough to potentially lose 120 hours of processing time. My intention however is to merely put the computer into sleep mode if there is a blackout. With the rendering software I am using, I can happily go into sleep mode and back out and it just carries on as if nothing had happened. Obviously if the computer loses power versus being put into sleep mode, I lose everything.

Yep exactly. It’s a work around. Check out all the new cisco video devices. Usb-c all built in and you actually don’t even need it now because we have native support for teams, webex, zoom and google built in!

Well! I bought fusion 8k hdmi at ebay for 15 buks a offer deal! And i compared the pictures and graphics and all i can say is Way way better than my old hdmi specially watching a movie and played my favorite game .. Rome ! I have no complaints and im happy … fyi is in the orig box but no certifired…Nowadays people can look around a good deal but the price ur saying is too m😮uch for hdmi price😅😅😅im not rich!

The RJ45 & Coax do not have surge protection. Nothing is listed in the manual.
