Welcome to my channel! I’m Danny Crisp. I started CDL Yeah to help share my trucking knowledge, tips, and adventures with potential, new, and experienced truck drivers and also those just curious in learning more about this industry. As a CDL Instructor and Flatbed Truck Driver, I’ll be sharing videos on a variety of topics and would love for you to join the CDL Yeah Community.

Got to do a new one for the new test
Im in PSD at MO and I believe air brake goes first
@@SoyCisko you can do any order you want
I cant back tfu i think i need a new instructor
It seems this is backwards in texas
Keeping it simple....name of your game Eclipsed 10K on your way.
Brick by brick 🧱🙌🏼
Hope all is well. I still use my CDL in the state of MO (*Monday-Friday) as a Flatbedder! 💪⚡️ 🇺🇸
Right on 👍🏼
Very descriptive and I personally like that "The Governor Cut-Off" comes 1st. I believe this will cut-out the "going through the motions" and will properly fulfill the precise understanding for the overall flow to how the truck works, especially for people that have little to no experience in a Semi or bigger Rig. #ShortSweetandTothePoint
Oh yeah 🙌🏼
Watching this and looking at the study guide at the same time….. my guy leaving out a whole lot of stuff…. I guess u don’t have to mention the belt driven alternative or gear driven air compressor or power steering pump….. just curious
Thank you for reaching out! The confusion is totally understandable 🤓🙌🏼 this video is the “Modernized” Critical Thirty style. It is the current standard that states are going to or have gone to. So, depending on your state, it is either this style, OR the old standard. That guide has the verbiage for both the old standard and the new modernized, BUT this video is the new modernized example. You just need to double check the up to date requirements for your state. 😁👍🏼
When did they get rid of the cut in and cut out as a mandatory test
Thanks for reaching out! 😁🙏🏼 If you have the 4 stage air brake test you may need to be using this new modernized style kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWx-xbChoLDAh5M.html
@@CDLYeah I have a cdl and have had one for 10 years. I just remembered needing to do cut in and out as well and now the new cdl book only shows the 3 you mentioned as the mandatory.
MAYBE ADDRESS WHEN ITS SUPER, super TIGHT AND KNOWING just when its not going to happen or it might happen with 45 minutes of micro moves. and clutch leg going completely numb.. kind of like what you get when you got to deliver in a tight ny alley designed for horse and buggy... you know what i mean. most of these backing lessons are great when you have the room. and granted you teaching students. however students still hit truck stops 11pm with only centimeters to park
Great suggestion! Thanks for reaching out 🙏🏻 There are definitely some spots that don't seem to have been made with trucks in mind. I will brainstorm about an episode on that next level backing stuff 🤓
no stick shift? what about for tankers, as i have heard the automatics cant handle the surge?
Good question 😁 nearly the whole fleet is auto at this point, tanks included 🙌🏼
I either was in the army or jail with this guy
Lol 😂 bet it’s the white shirt vibes
Tn does this ass backwards, we do the tug first, then the final air brake test....
TN is interesting for sure. You can only take your permit test once a week there. Most other states you can take it multiple times a day 😲😑🤷🏻♂️ have y’all moved to the modernized 4 stage ABT yet?
@CDLYeah it's the license test that's like that, I took my permit the next day after I failed air brakes section the 1st time.
Copy please and thank you
Absolutely! Email us at [email protected] and we’ll get you all set up 🙌🏼🥳
💯☑️‼️🔥
🙏🏻😁🚀💥
On first day he said nothing about his seatbelt for safety 🤦🏽♀️ 🙄
Yeah, crazy that a seatbelt is no longer part of the required pretrip but that is the design of the new critical thirty 🧐 but your testing state may require that still, TX and CA require extra analysis, where are you testing?
Just tested last week ☺️👌
Right on 😎🤙🏼
Leaving out on the road with my PSD trainer today
Prime facilities are top notch. Taken care of everything. Thks for showing us a day. Artismal quality.... Wtf!!!!
Thanks for the support Big Dawg 😁🙏🏼
Dont know how you do it. All the stuff on your plate. Oh yeah you are a perfectionist. Great info....got me through going strong almost 4 yrs later.

This guy looks like if you combined every live action spiderman. But thanks I needed this video for tomorrow’s road test. Nice refresher.
Duuuude 🤣 I’ve never heard a more accurate description 🙏🏼 drive safe
Thanks! !! I have my road test today. I learn different and forgot most. But logically... Airbreak is for safety magic numbers are 60. 90-100- 145 From 60 to 100 you can't have then 1 minute to regain your air. At 145 the Gouverneur need to activate so the air thank doesn explode And need a warning light or buzzer for low air pressure at 60 or above. If it goes under is defective and cannot operate. Amd you need make shure the Gouverneur will get back up when it time to get air again. The holding brake for 1 minutes is to check for any air lost and cannot lose more than 3psi or the truck is defective and cannot operate (canada) Now, the circle check is where I would get it wrong because course and real life experience are two different thing. But mostly, you would simply do a quick circle check. And exemple if you check a tire. You would tell the person that you would check all tires. Rims, ects but in real life you actually need to check them all😂😅
The Canadian test is unique certainly 🙌🏼🤓 all the very best on your test!!
That stupid ridiculous music Is a distraction . Annoying as heck.
😁 thanks for weighing in 🙌🏼
these all black pages are using up all my black ink 😂
The layout has some black 😆🙏🏼
@CDLYeah this was a great video and helped me to better understand the reasons for the test. Can you please send me the success scripting?
Definitely! 😁 If you’re heading to Prime email me at [email protected] and we’ll get it over! Or if you’re attending another program check out the website for the Prep Packet! Cdl-yeah.com 🙌🏼🤓
More interior please.
Noted 🙏🏼😁
Does prime only offer automatic trucks or can you get a manual if you prefer?
Great question 😎 the fleet is all automatic. I’ve driven both and I’d take the automatic 9 times outta 10 😁🙌🏼
Make sure you have your Family stuff taken care of before you hop in the saddle! However, it's a great company and remember you're on a $200 weekly loan until you convert your Permit to an actual CDL. That's when you can start making more than a $200 weekly Loan. Very very very important, because money doesn't grow on trees and you desperately need a good adequate amount of time to study to execute this whole process. Money is everything nowadays, so REMEMBER those critical things before making a commitment. Btw: Danny Crisp is an exceptional Teacher. Use his videos! He has this whole process broken down,"Brick by brick." Good Luck and hope that helps! 🇺🇸 💥💯💪
Appreciate the support 🙏🏼

Please I want to find out will the company drive you out on the road so that you can also drive on the road before you go for your road test
Great question! 🙌🏼😁 The program here has OTJ training to help students get a leg up on the tasks required to operate a commercial vehicle! Have you considered applying? Have your permit yet?
@@CDLYeahyes I already have my permit and am doing my medical paperwork, and I was trying to find out, with me haven my permit will I get the chance to do road test with prime inc before doing the DMV road test.
@@CDLYeah yes I did and am coming to Pensilvania this Sunday for the program
Thank you!!! Clear and concise...in CT which test? Losing site of center cone when executing off set left/right...solution? CDL prep packet?
These are great questions! 🤓📚 Thanks so much for reaching out! CT should be on the new format by now, but I’d double check with your school/program. I wouldn’t worry about chasing cones on your offsets, when do you plan to test?
Late september@@CDLYeah
I hope this message finds you well. As a teacher, I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with the constant scrutiny from inexperienced and insecure administrators, who seem more focused on making a name for themselves than supporting educators. This is why I obtained my CDL A back in 2018. Though I still need to acquire some endorsements, having the license has been a blessing in disguise, as it allows me to pursue my dream of becoming a truck driver. I’ve always been interested in flatbed trucking and have researched several companies, including Maverick, TMC, Melton, Gypsum Express, and ROEHL. Recently, someone recommended Prime Inc., noting your comprehensive training, great hours, excellent benefits, well-equipped facilities, and the opportunity to stay in shape while working and working out at the facilities. Given this, I’d like to know more about Prime Inc. Do you really like working there? How are the pay and benefits? Is it possible to drive as a team and eventually go lease after two years? Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, John
Do I need a CDL-A permit and a DOT medical card before I apply?
Great question! The permit and med card need to be acquired asap, before applying is best! 🤓📚
@@CDLYeah Thank you for replying!
I need some tips for parallel backing
