I'm retired from the Navy and am blessed to be able to ride whenever I want so I plan to take advantage of every ride-able day I possibly can. I love all things bike, so there well be a few different types of bikes and riding that I partake in and since I enjoy fiddle'n around with the GoPro/Insta360 I figured I might as well film it.... I need a road bike. My mind, my thinking, is too narrow. I didn't even know it was possible to ride out to NW Lancaster River Trail from here. I never calculated the distances -- but yeah. Clearly it's possible. BTW your maps at the end are VERY helpful . Thanks.

You’re talking about switching to a swallow - I have been thinking to try the same, how does the comfort compare?
@roman2374 I wasn't a fan of the swallow or any other Brooks that I've tried, for me it's only the B17, saddles are very subjective though, you may find the Swallow comfy
@@cyclingharrisburgpa I'm sure I'll prefer the feel of the B17 (especially on longer rides), I have a B17 Flyer, the one with the springs and its like sitting on a cloud. However I want to also have a lighter saddle and I like the idea of the swallow potentially having a longer life as the way the leather meets at the bottom seems to give the structure more integrity!? But here I'm also worried I just won't enjoy sitting on it as much. I like the minimalist look, but do we look at our saddles while riding? Not me. Ugh, I guess I'll just have to try to kill my curiosity and then see myself selling it used in a couple of weeks - or maybe I'll be into it. Sorry for rambling on its bedtime and I've got nightbrain. A short ride is still better than no ride. It's much better to have cut a ride short than never have stepped out the door. Hope you have a nice clean drive chain now as well! Been putting off doing mine too so maybe today is the day. Take care. Jay

Nice! I don't feel confident in trying to ride and hold the selfie stick. I use a handlebar mount, but I am not happy with my current set up, but it does work.
@larryryan6003 gotcha, I've been doin it for a bit now, it's second nature for me at this point, I used mounts in the past but I like using different perspectives to make my vids a little more dynamic

yeah, a majority of my rides are solo, going by others schedule most times doesn't jive with my mental state, lol yeah, the river is lovely, love where I live
