Sh!t Talk Reviews is a group of friends who love music and perhaps more importantly, love giving each other grief. Leaning towards the heavier side of music, the fellas occasionally get together and talk about new music releases. If you love rock, metal, punk, hardcore, progressive metal or any heavier genres, check in and see if something catches your ear. Or, if you just get excited by grown men acting like seventh graders, you might be in the right place.

I love this band.
The original album is way better, this is just a cash grab
From the Past come the Riffs. This remake is the perfect blend of the past and the current . Every song rips harder than the original. What you missed in 87, you'll hear in 24. Subbed.
@@lawrencefine5020 Well said. 🤘 ~j
GOSSIP GIRLS TALKING.......
Does Bill Ward own a plane? Never seen any information on it. Or is this some kind of idiom, like, he's very busy?
I always wanted to hear Type O cover Moving in Stereo by The Cars. It would have been perfect with Type O’s bass, drums and synths.
Johnny my Friend! Hi Derek!
BRUNO!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the podcast, loved it. Excited for the new Patriarchs In Black record. 🙂
Rock on!!
Love your pod!!!
Dittohead.
First Chinese Thrash band?: play it. UNDISPUTED ATTITUDE.
ProS.😊
Slayer is fucking awesome, who? Holt is wicked live. RIP Jeff H.
Pretty good actually, Kerry may be a blank head but he does play good music.
These 2 are thick as shit.
If you think these two guys are thick, you should check out an episode with David J in the mix.
Great interview. Frayle is one of my most favorite bands ever. Their music has become a big part of my life. 🖤
greatest BULLSHIT song by a famous hard rock band EVER released . BEST thing is : Nobody is responsible for WRITING such a shitty song ........ !!!!!!! I just cant believe a great musician like NIKKI SIXX could agree to be involved in such an unbelievable idea to use AI only for the song AND the video !!!!! by Thommy from germany .....64 years old ...and I saw over 2000 rock shows from nearly every major band in the world since 1975
Yeah, the whole thing sounds fake.
Straight from the legend himself. Rad interview, guys 🤘🏼
Appreciate it!🤘
The Crue sucks it's over !!!!! hang it up along with all the tribute bands trying to recreate the band what a big shit show
Listened to this cover to cover on a long ride as my son said it is fantastic. And I was blown away. EVERY song so good.
Sounds to me like those BASTARDS BROUGHT YOU DOWN lol. No i completely agree the song sucks.
Motley is a good band or was the days of dr feelgood are over their hay day is over retire fellas its time
I know commercially Dr.Feelgood was the peak, but MC94 with Corabi was their musical peak. In my opinion.1997 -2024 eats nuts.
Crue was my first true love and my first concert (Theatre of Pain tour). They are the band I've seen in concert more than any other band (14 times). Having said all that, I agree that it is time for these guys to hang it up. They hung it up once. They should've just stayed retired. They're an embarrassment.
Heard it's all AI idk if it's true or not but this band hasn't done anything good since before I was born over thirty four years ago
Nikki Vanilli and the Motley Lip sync. New song sucks its not AI. Not hard to write a crappy song.
it sucks ,this so pathetic, motley spew just a new money grab ,mic mars was the only talent in that garage band ,dont go away mad, just go away please 😅😅😅
As sad as I am to see Mick Mars not a part of the song, this was a great opportunity for Motley to utilize John 5s guitar skills to put a different guitar twist on a classic Motley sound should they have chosen to go that route. It could have been epic. Instead what we get is a lazy, over computerized AI song with lyrics so bad it makes Nickleback look good. This was definitely a missed opportunity. Look what Sabestian Bach did with What Have I Got to Lose, a great track that could have fit in on Slave to the Grind. Motley should have followed that route.
This song sounds like a left over from Generation Swine!! I don’t like it
Well Mr @Kevinwilliams877, you are decidedly not alone in not liking it; I know of at least three others who don’t like it. We will cling together in our disdain! ~John
Yess just saw them about a month ago with Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly! Such a good show. Seeing them again later this year with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. Al is the best
I hope this is their last album. I can’t think of a better final album than this!
I wish these guys knew something about Judas Priest.
Great episode
Invincible Shield is the best album ever released by Judas Priest. It's simply a masterpiece. Best lyrics, best message. Best production. It's a album of hope. Halford's faith is clearly on display. The only great song on Firepower is "Rising from ruins" My favorite songs on Invincible Shield are Panic attack, Crown of Horns, As God is my witness, Trial by fire fire, Sons of thunder. Devil in disguise could be a Bible sermon. Every song is great. The Lodger is the only "strange" song. Panic attack starts off with the turbo synth.
Firepower is pretty damn good. Traitors gate is phenomenal. Saying that this album is fantastic.
@@scooter29 I loved Guardians/Rising from ruins, Never a hero. I liked Traitors gate and the acoustic song, I forget the name. That's about it. I gave the Firepower album a grade of B- I will say Guardians/Rising from ruins is definitely the bridge and pathway too the Masterpice "Invincible Shield" which I gave a grade of A++ Its absolutely miraculous that JP was able to accomplish this masterpiece. Ritchie almost dies from a heart issue, Glen Tipton with his ongoing ailment of Parkinson disease. Rob Halford's recovery from prostate cancer. Words cannot define how great Invincible Shield really is. It's one of the greatest Rock/Metal albums of all time by anyone.

@@scooter29 👌 that's it. thanks.
@@stephensdygert7600 can’t wait for the tour to come my way.
Great episode! Love Ministry and love the new album. Definitely a return to that late 80's sound which is also my favorite period. I was very into industrial back in the day, probably because my anger at what was going on in the world was matched by my love of sampling and new production techniques. My faves are "Goddamn Whit Trash" and "TV Song". Totally makes sense "Ricky's Hand" doesn't quite fit because it is a cover of an song by the post-punk band Fad Gadget, who are more keyboard focused. Anyway, great job. Please check out my podcast/YT channel if you get a chance. We will likely be covering this album sometime soon.
Thanks kindly! 🤘🤘 We dig the album, for sure. The throwback vibes did it for me. TV Song is excellent. Thanks for the Ricky’s Hand tip, I totally overlooked that and it explains the different flavor. We’ll definitely check your cast! Happy to sub and support!! 🙌 ~john
Judas Priest is the greatest metal band ever.
Guy's not a Priest fan but praises them for how great they are, lol! The other guy complaining about cover after they just said no one buys albums anymore. Then says there's a dragon on Defenders not a dragon it's the Metallian! Guy likes The Lodger which to me is worst song on the album doesn't sound like Priest. To each their own everyone has an opinion mine is all that matters to me. Keep your day jobs guys !
Please do more research before doing your podcast.
Please check out the female Judas Priests in this ,live performance, Set The World on Fire (by LOVEBITES): kzread.info/dash/bejne/a22u1apvmarFZsY.htmlsi=GDXoI1hFp72t5sAu . They also covered Painkiller

Checked it out and its killer. They are a tremendous band, thanks for sharing !! ~David J
I have been listening to this since its release. Best new album for me this year so far. I have never heard of them prior to this. I get some David Bowie vibes on some vocals. The female vocals are outstanding. Just a great blend of styles that a lot of bands cannot pull off.
Trevor is a lyrical genius! I've known that since the first song I herd ... internal war.... they have been in my top fav bands since the oncoming storm... right up there with Pantera #1 but a close second! Love bands you can put any one of their albums on and listen to it from start to finish and not want to skip a single track! Unearth is one of those rare bands! Also, they have always stayed true to their sound! Never sold out! Like Metallica for instance... old skool Metallica is so amazing! Wish they would go back to their roots!
This album is very formulaic, but at the time, to say this is what everyone was doing at this time is kinda crazy. They are kinda are they gold standard for what metalcore now. Their album homesick, created that. Them common courtesy. Are some of the best metal core records of all time.
Cool pick! Good palette cleanser before High On Fire comes out with their new one this year. I recommend At The Plates - Omnivore from this year. The songs parodies 90s melodic death metal songs, but I really enjoyed the original music. I recommend Terminal Filet Disease and Roastwell 47.
Ever since I found out about URNE just a couple months ago. Been nonstop listening to the new album. It’s FUCKIN epic and one of my fav albums of all time from and old school metal head.
Great list. A little suprised a Country Time Lemonade sponsorship didn't make it on John's list of resolutions. Looking forward to what 2024 will bring. I'll be on the lookout for that Flavor Flav interview ⏰️.
The black metal bands that I’ve suggested are very different from other black metal bands. They are very unconventional and dissonant. Mithridatum, Acausal Intrusion, and Thantifaxath are remarkable. I’m also tired of most black metal these days. I did love Momento Mori by Marduk. It is just so well done and brutal.
putting Tesseract at 7 is laughable. There is no album of any genre that was anywhere near as good as that album. I have to assume you guys don't know anything about music if that is your 7th album of this horrible year for music.
Have you ever heard of something called different opinions?
I recently discovered Sermon and their 2nd. Album Of Golden Verse and it's an incredible album. And I discovered that James Stewart was the drummer on the album. James is an awesome! Drummer and he has done a really great job on the drums. The whole album is a very fresh and a interesting mixture of sounds and genres of Metal throughout the album. I will be personally following this group in the future. I really love what I've heard from this album. Great list guys.🤘
Good Looks Steven !
