After you’re all done wrapping whatever part of the car you want do you use a heat gun over the part you wrapped or no need to use a heat gun just on the edges ??

for, say the hood, couldn't you tack the end of the roll to the top corner, roll it across the hood and mark/cut the other side? I'm not familiar with wraps (unless they are burritos), so I'm just wondering if that would be easier?
