  i wonder if there would be a kakfours project since this makes sense. like since there are no chuck boundary checks for spawning cacti what if you can spawn one in the corner of a chunk and all of the chunks adjacent to that corner could contribute in spawning a larger cactus? and that way if the chunk fits a height mask that fits this condition (like a condition that chunk can have 2x2 elevated area in each corner) we would only have to limit the amount of chunks we would scan (that probably takes a shit load of time to do but still). maybe theres a 52 blocks tall cactus who knows?

  So correct me if I'm wrong but the theoretical max cactus height is 60 right? 10 cactus attempts, maximum of 3 blocks tall each, across 2 chunks.

  Many years ago, while just starting to play minecraft, I stumbled upon a very tall cactus which I showed to my sister and we laughed about it, not even realizing how rare they were and that I would possibly never ever see a naturally generated tall cactus again.
