  I totally f-ed up my first semester of teaching: - Unprepared - No preparation time/day given - Nervous during first day - Didnt know how to read the syllabus - Said in the first day that I am a noob in teaching - Following weeks/months almost half of the class is either late or absent - Didnt gave retake exams for those who failed - Too lax for a teacher, students didn't respect me as their teacher - Failed 7 students in one class I didnt want this to happen in my first semester but it really happened. I want to become a strict teacher but gives high grades for my future students. Everyday I tell to myself that its my fault😢 Sometimes I want to cry because I cant reverse this mistake I made.

  I’m so sorry to hear that. 🥹 But hey, it’s not over yet. We teachers mess up at some point but it’s okay, we can always work on becoming better. The fact that you’re here shows how much you care about your students and how important it is for you to be able to improve in your craft. Don’t be too hard on yourself. 💛
