For those too young to remember or weren't born yet, at the time, all of these athletes were signed to Jordan Brand. Being at the top of their respective sports was only 1/2 the reason they are sitting there with MJ.

A great interview! Really admire that MJ had the generosity to sponsor Montez. Just curious to know if Montez had much club racing experience before entering AMA? Good to see Jason Pridmore in this video. I’ve been to his school. One of the best I attended. Also did a “two up” on the back of his. GSXR-1000 in Pahrump, Nevada at Spring Mountain Motorsports track.

No matter how many times I watch this I cry. Michael Jordan was, for ME, not just the G.O.A.T. of basketball but the individual G.O.A.T. of professional players- from ALL sports team or individual. I watched his ENTIRE career. Michael was truly unique and special- and I ONLY feel, for me, that the ONLY 2 other athletes I put in that category is Ali and Jackie Robinson.

Unpopular take: Krause was 100% right when he thought this team was at the end of their dynasty in 1998.

And yet...the 1999 lockout, 50-game season, may have been just the boost an old and fading Championship team needed to give it one more go. (As the 8th seed Knicks made it through the Eastern Conference to eventually lose to the Spurs in the Finals.) While I agree they were near the end, a 3 month layoff could have been helpful to Jordan's Bulls had they brought the band together for one more season.

The Bulls would have won again. Period. Krause wasn’t getting the credit he wanted, so he dissolved the team. He blew up his relationship with Phil Jackson because he knew MJ would not stay if Phil Jackson left. MJ wanted to play another season and defend their championship.

MJ and Roy Jones are a huge part of my childhood. I don't know if anyone has ever been as famous as MJ though.....and I'm talking worldwide. Muhammad Ali is the only other sports Icon that might rival him. Watch some of the videos on KZread and see how people in other countries still treat Jordan. Generations later, and kids still follow him through the streets bahhing like a goat
