Good fishing, but letting them keep it so long is going to get a lot of gut hooks. And did you call a 16inch flounder a doormat?! Cmon man. Hehe

I wish the flounder in my area were that abundant and easy to catch. 22inch min for a keeper. I've used a white fluke on weight reg hooks too. If using plastics for halibut I'll use flukes, 3-6inch paddy tails or a jerk bait. Usually use live bait on a Carolina rig to weed out the smaller guys.

Great video. I have always fished the Dirty Boxer and done well. Is there a reason you prefer the brawler over a curly tail or paddle tail? Also, what colors do you prefer? Thanks
@InshorePursuit3 ай бұрын
Thankyou! Ya, I really like the dirty boxer but from my experience, the brawler does just as good if not better at times. The deal breaker for me is the fact that the tails hold up and it’s more versatile considering you can fish it on a Weedless hook as well. I prefer "white knuckle" especially when the water is clean. If the water is stained up pretty good, I will use a brighter color like "tapout."
