Amazing colors from the new Spectrum glazes. You did great pronouncing Bougainvillea, the L’s are silent, like “veeya” instead of “villa”. I love the purple over the turquoise. I guess it would be shallot over floating turquoise? And I’m wondering if Tampenade would be better over texture and a bit thicker. Hmm, looking forward to getting my hands of a sample pack. Thanks for sharing your results!

These are so pretty. Just love decals! It looks like the ornaments weren’t cleaned with alcohol before applying. If you use a non shedding cloth to clean the surface with alcohol it shouldn’t leave the holes like that. I was also thinking since the ornaments are flat maybe they got too hot since the entire piece is on the kiln shelf and the piece is so thin maybe it got too hot. Anyway they look great.
@undsethpotteryАй бұрын
Thank you! I was wondering why they did that! I did not take the time to clean them, so that’s probably what happened! I think the water was too warm at the beginning also! Not sure if that would make a difference! Just a few did that! I hung the ornaments so they weren’t flat!
@micheledickey4066Ай бұрын
@@undsethpottery The water temp doesn’t matter. If it’s warm they come off the backing easier. You want to make sure to press all the air out from underneath beginning in the middle. Once you’ve got it on you can turn the piece on the light and see if there are bubbles underneath. If there are you can use warm water to get it wet and try again. Glad I could help.
