Oh just you try going at something that is not mainstream game where code is not posted all over the internet. Also chat gpt has bad feature where if you doubt it's response it does flip it to something else, regardless if you are wrong or not

if u want much higher level AI and accurate and complex and u never had errors code guys I'll introducing DEEPAI the DEEPAI is so powerful and much better than OPENAI since start 1990 and u can show ur picture and video and anything u want

Awesome video! I got a Quest 3 recently and have been playing the original Asgard's Wrath (through PCVR) before I dive into AW2. Been trying to fine-tune the settings to work through a bit of VR-dizziness and light-headedness that I get after playing for a while. Didn't have a clue what Camera Shake was in the settings. I very much appreciate the details, candlesan!
So basically he just coded the most important parts himself because AI doesn't exist and chatgpt is basically autocorrect on steroids. Good to know.

I managed to make an entire game that got me an A with 0 programming skills using chatgpt lol, so you just need to have patience and know how to use it
Using ChatGPT4o I was able to create a super simple game where you play as a frog jump on leaf's going upwards, but you have to be able to plan it because the camera wont stop going up, if the camera proceeds before you the game ends. No fancy graphics, just a concept, but I have no coding background and completely new to unreal engine. ChatGPT literally held my hands though the entire process, which gives me hope for future games.
i ALWAYS disable camera shakes. i get motion sickness. please stop giving out terrible advice that can cause problems in some people.
It also help diagnose patients too. I work in ED for a few years and last month my son tell me about chatgpt to i tried it in ed just inputing what the triage nurse assessment on pt and it give me all the questions to ask the patients (which some of them i even have not think of and very precise) and based on how pt is answered it would suggest what kind of further testing is required like which specific blood test or imaging test and if u follow it and input all the blood results or other data u will narrow down all the possible diagnosis. It just blow my mind away i don’t think they will be needing doctors in ed in near future.
ChatGPT is good at copying or mixing what it already knows. Ask to make a new game, with new mechanics and no references to similar games. It will produce nonsense rubbish code.
I cant play cyberpunk. Based on the BS the company put people through on launch. Dont care how well they finished it. Unacceptable. Will never purchase another game from them ever. For sure there are others out there in agreement.
"Polite as always" You just seized upon my *least* favorite aspect of modern LLM AI systems: faux human behavior. I find it patently offensive to let machines ape humans in that manner. An AI thanks me, I flip it the bird.
This makes me want to put AI into the tool category and not the sci-fi sentient category

Idk about game but chat gpt sure as hell is rn teaching me c++ i just told teach me c++ every day like a course and hell I'm learning day 5 it's teaching me data structures and linked lists

That is a terrible idea. There is zero guarantee that what it's teaching you is actually correct.

today CHATGPT is giving wrong answer almost everytime - no matter the topic - you can ask it to give you TABS for guitar and it will be wrong you can ask him about coding and it will give you a wrong answer - but it is still usefull from time to time to try to understand what to look for on the net

Hi Candlesan, I just want to say I appreciate your Game Jam stream using Godot. At the time I watched your stream, a lot of it was over my head (it still is). But as the concept of Managers surfaces, I just think of that Customer Manager telling all the customers where they should be eating. Watching in 2024 highlights how much more important it is to ask the right questions with GPT and knowing enough about that output to be able to fix any of the mistakes it may have introduced. Really intresting after 1 year.

But you need an actual programmer asking it the right questions, an everyday joe would not know what to ask ChatGPT in order to have a game actually work!
Well atleast it's able to save the programmers time to code the stuff and let them focus on the design and stuff
I’ve been creating a Call of Duty Zombies style game using ChatGPT with no Unity or coding experience and I’ve essentially got a fully working game now after a few months. Health, Points, Guns, Door System, Perk System, Wall Buying, Wave Spawner, Menus, Game Over etc.. The lot.. I don’t even know how to write one line of code. ChatGPT isn’t always accurate and they constantly give you wrong code but being specific and having patience eventually you’ll overcome the issue. It’s definitely do-able to create a fully working game from ChatGPT alone just be prepared for the constant errors it gives you. I went from someone not even knowing how to add a cube on the screen in Unity, to having a fully functional working Call of Duty Zombies style game. ChatGPT will help you learn Unity.
