My youtube tried suggest quite many videos about new game with name something like "Crusader Trenches" or something like that. And some of those headlines of video suggestions said, that it is made by Mordheim creator. I just wondering, how much there could be also legal questions, not only GW's power politics? I mean, if I understood correctly, there was Lord of the Rings tabletop game by GW, which was very popular (some even claim that it's popularity killed Warhammer Fantasybattle - I do not know these things), and that game vanished too... Why? Because they do not have licence for LOTR any more? Those things, I already mentioned, I really do not know. But let's be honest: GW is "Disney of tabletop wargaming", they try to dominate. I mean, 80% of Warhammer and Warhammer 40K is really from Michael Moorcock's book series, like Hawkmoon - not GW's creations really. But they try to trademark everything what they can, so that no one can copy their works, like they copied other people's works (same about Mickey Mouse, Snowy White, etc etc. by Disney). Also, like Disney, GW "discourages" any of their workers to claim that they did that sculpt or that work - for GW/Disney, everything was created and owned by company, not by humans. For them, politics and choices they make, are mainly about domination and control. Their idea is, that they get more money by dominating, than actually making good things (things in good ways). I think GW intentionally make too small prints for their things, to cause certain psychological effect on people - they believe that it improves their dominance and therefore be good for their business (or at least some corporat inside of GW explained to rest of GW leadership that it is cool and good politics for them - possibly to cover up, that he screwed things up...telling, that screwing up was actually good thing, and everyone actually should start screwing up in that way... Bit like story of Emperor with "new cloths", where only little child told loudly that the emperor does not have cloths at all, while everyone else tried to pretend that he has actually cloths).

I agree completely. I've played in several campaigns over the years, and I love the game. Aside from some balance issues, like you said, I feel it's the best game GW has ever put out in based on the cohesive feel and quality of the rules. And saying that, if they rebooted it now I don't think it would have the same level of quality. I'm sure the minis and books would look fantastic, but I don't think the rules would be as good. And like you said, it can be very inexpensive to start playing. In the last campaign I was in, I was able to use all Reaper Bones minis for my Undead warband. They were cheap and worked great once I put them on square bases. There are so many generic fantasy minis you can use. The prepainted Whizkids minis would work well too if you don't want to do any of the hobby side of it.

GW does print on demand already. My buddy ordered first edition Rogue Trader, it came nicely printed etc. Only downside was that it was coming to him for about six months and contact with GW customer service was abyssmal. And also they're doing it the "FOMO" way, so the rulebook and some old minis were limited time exclusive.

Society has prioritized women and children for too long, leaving younger men feeling isolated and anomic. As a result, those young men are withdrawing from society, no longer contributing with their labor, being unwilling to join the military and unwilling to take part in 'third spaces', in no small part because they feel their third places are invaded by people who will not let them speak or express themselves freely. People made this a zero-sum game, or perhaps it always had to be. And that will have serious repercussions for our society going forward. Mass events, increasing political extremism, hostility toward outgroups; all will increase because we alienated young men. And if anyone actually responds to that, the response will be more likely to be an example of that alienating force, than it is to be legitimately engagement.

Definitely get in early on in the series before it is phased out. Buy everything you need and don't buy every edition of every game unless it's only the codex and rules, for standalone series and the like I have almost everything for newcromunda and I don't intend collecting the next edition if it comes around. Likewise I have first edition of kill team and I think it is more like a smaller version of 40k which can be played quickly and on a smaller table with slightly more technical gameplay. No new gimmicky dice rolls and special rulers for every movement. I do collect some night vault stuff but only occasionally and that is always expanding so I can jump in and out with the same core mechanics and it never gets old. Likewise I am collecting dandd 5th edition and I think one good ruleset is enough for me, I doubt I would play any other edition. Personally I like to play lots of different game sets without too much crossover in type and for all the different warhammer games I play different armies in each one. So I am playing as Orks in warpforge but decided not to buy their combat patrol and went for the adeptus sororitas instead because they are striking new sculpts and are all plastic instead of the old metal ones that were really expensive and now they have a lot more options in all areas.
