Hello Everyone! My name is Nathan and this is my channel The EveryDay Drinker. We will make cocktails, taste bourbons and always drink responsibly! I hope you will all come along for the ride as we go through this journey together.
I think they need to use the correct DSP#. If you go to the TTB website you’ll find the DSP-ky-10 belongs to Brown Foreman. Deceptive labeling needs to end.

You really need to hammer these bourbon companies that are obviously just whoring their juice for profit. Any bourbon that is priced more than 40ish dollars a bottle is just ridiculous. Any other focus is, simply bullsh+t.

Great video, Nathan. You are steadily becoming my favorite American whiskey reviewer. I'm working on a Green River Full Proof and, after 4 or 5 pours, I haven't yet reached a verdict. I love Larceny BP, and am currently working on B523, (my favorite), C923 and A124. I like them all better than the Green River. Looking forward to getting the B524. Would have loved to see Elijah Craig BP and Jack Daniels SBBP compete with these, though I understand you wanted some higher priced bourbons in this contest.

I can easily tell which one is the RR 15 and 13 . I'm a big fan of Russell's, but I wouldn't say that it's Bourbon of the year. I was able to buy 2 bottles on July 3rd, from the distillery. Everyone has a different pallet, but I think RR 13 was better. I'll sip and share the open bottle, but the other one will just be on the shelf unless someone wants to give me a small fortune for it. There's several bottles 250 and under that are better.

I was very disappointed with Hardin creek, it will tell you on the bottle aged for two years and you can sure tell. Very alcohol forward, like drinking medicine

I'm surprised by two bottles. How poorly the MM Cellar did and how well the Willet did. PS taking 20 mins between tastes (plus whatever time you took on the tasting) this was some serious dedication to a video! Kudos!

I have all the bottles except for the two MMs. There's no way that the Willett is better than the RR15 or GTS. Unpopular opinion but I even think that JD12 is better the Willet.

As an "everyday drinker" most of us us don't buy $50 bottles to go through every week! I keep Old Forester 86, Jim Beam & Jack Daniels, bottles that are in the $20-$25 range! Every time I buy a new one I know it's going to taste the same as the last one. It's not this or that greatest batch ABC series to raise the price for a money grab. Even under $30 you can get Turkey 101, Bulliet, Even Williams, Buffalo Trace, Weller green label and even Kessler plastic bottle for $10 here in Ohio! I just want to spend my money on a GOOD, consistent product at a fair price!

Nathan - I really think you should do some kind of blind with the RR 15 and include bottles like Old Carter, GTS, stellar ECBP batches, etc - you could do almost double blind by identifying some set of stellar bottles as a pool and let somebody pick 3 of those to include with RR 15 and see what the outcome is.
