What does it mean to become an Orthopreneur?
Hi there!
My name is Dr. Glenn Krieger and I believe that in today’s competitive world, the orthodontic and dental communities should be collaborative. And I've created Orthopreneurs so that we can move towards that goal together.
Orthodontists are smart people. You’ve accomplished a lot to get where you are, but chances are you never got a formal education in how to run the most effective and lowest stress practice possible.
Don’t sweat it! Because we’ve got your back...
Being an Orthopreneur means that you’re a part of a community. A community that brings peers together to become the best clinicians and the best business owners they can be.
Becoming an Orthopreneurs means you never ever need to practice alone.

Hey How can i contact with you?
I have a great appreciation for the Graphy TC85 resin when it does not cause adverse reactions. In my experience, out of 41 cases, I have encountered four significant reactions where patients experienced substantial swelling of the lips, lower face, and throat, nearly leading to choking incidents. Each aligner I produce adheres strictly to their protocol. Despite control boiling, the aligners appear perfectly clear and normal. Upon reaching out to the company, their consistent response attributes these reactions to bacterial or mechanical causes, or inadequate polymerization. However, I ensure that all aligners are thoroughly checked post-control boiling, mechanical damage is ruled out, and I always perform a straight cut, ensuring the edges are polished to remove any support remnants. Additionally, I instruct my patients to boil their aligners daily for one minute for sterilization purposes. Even though the incidence of these reactions is relatively low, we cannot dismiss them as normal occurrences. I am perplexed by the assertion that this material is 100% biocompatible. Graphy has been unresponsive to addressing this issue, despite many of my colleagues experiencing similar problems. While I understand that this is a new technology and collaboration is essential to resolve these issues, Graphy continually deflects blame onto us, the users. I have learned that an updated resin version has been introduced in the US. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide more information about it.
Hello Sir I see you have been uploading regular videos on your KZread channel for the past many days but hopefully the results or videos are not going viral. Can I suggest you to growing your youtube channel? Thank you
Not spending enough time with your kids is infinitely worse than spending too much time. Many of this generation of parents had to live through childhoods filled with neglectful and apathetic parents who had time for everything else but their kids. Now there’s this concept of gentle parenting. We are focused on children having good self esteem and compassion/empathy. Things that were lacking in typical upbringings. We want to release whole and happy people into the world. Bonding with your child is sooooooo incredibly important. Presence is beyond valuable to a child. Hang out with your kids. Laugh with your kids. Talk to them and teach them about life. Don’t ever think you’re spending too much time with your kids.
Why should bills go up when you can get your job done easier?
What are you saying buy a shotgun or make money and invest properly for the future? Winter is coming bois
Great episode! I have practiced for 20+ years with a similar mentality, but at times have felt almost guilty about it because I could have probably made more money. Time spent pursuing adventures I’ve had from skiing with my family to swimming the English Channel are worth so much more than $$!!
What interesting and guests. Great way to live a life. They’re raising the next generation of capable and worldly people
Amy is amazing !
DIVORCE is most often the reason for financially broken dentists.

A bit long but helpful
Thanks for talking about this in your podcast. Orthodontists should know occlusion. I graduated from the Roth course in 1997. It was absolutely the best course I took after finishing my ortho residency in 1994. His principles became the foundation of my practice philosophy. The number of orthodontists that I have met over my 30 years of practice who believe that Roth was “ a used car salesman”, blows my mind. He was one of the best orthodontists that I have ever met. Most of his graduates are producing amazing cases. Finishing case where CO and CR are coincident matters.
Cannot agree more ! How on earth did this happen to our profession! As orthodontist I train dentist to do ortho and always starts off by telling the students just as much as you need your bible to guides you through life, you need Peter Dawson textbook on Functional occlusion, your only way to success.
i see why u have the comments turned off!!

Hey there! Just came across your video on critical legal issues for orthodontists, and I must say, it's incredibly informative and insightful. As someone who runs the Christian channel focusing on integrity and ethical principles, I deeply resonate with the importance of understanding legal complexities in professional practice. Your expertise in this area is commendable, and I've not only enjoyed the video but also subscribed to your channel for more valuable content. Keep up the fantastic work!
Good advice

Wick Alexander used to show cases with palatal expander without any surgical procedures. Any protocol on placing expander, eval after 2 weeks of turns, and if no opening, send for the Surgical procedure? Just to ease the patient into this necessary procedure? He did send for SARPE, but did show quite a few cases of adults without surgery where the suture did open up.
Hey Orthoprenuers , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing & turnaround time and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience ! Lmk what you think ?
But NOT without informed consent from the patient! I and many other patients have had orthos who made the assumption that this was wanted when it wasn't. I still cry over it and want my old teeth back! Just ask us before you permanently alter us PLEASE!
Great idea!! I’ve looking for ways to do remote or in-house remote viewing as I’m in a busy pediatric practice where I’m on the floor but also running ortho columns 4-5 days a week. My thoughts were first look at smart glssses, to see what my DA is seeing, but technology is not there yet. Video, yes, but two way communication not so much. Thanks for the video!!
Also the Big Short is a must watch I love that movie!
Im trying to go into orthodontics! This was very informative thank both of y'all!
After printing over 50kilos of Graphy, and make observation of performance and speaking to our European colleagues, we still thermoform. Where did $56/tray come from??? IHA report $15-22 including labour and packaging. We provide at $10
Hello 🙂 Thanks for watching!! I would love to connect to learn more about your experience with Graphy TC-85 and what pushed you and your European colleagues away from it. If you were a very early adopter, I imagine the design aspect was a big hurdle, but again, I would really like to hear about your experience. As more and more studies have come out, it seems very clear that the material properties have very significant advantages over thermoformed aligners and it is gaining a lot of popularity in Europe so I'm surprised to hear after printing 50KG of it, you decided to move away from it and would love to know why. As for the $56 figure, it comes from LMT magazine as the national average cost per tray from a lab, not made in house, as the majority of clinics are still using a centralized lab for aligner production. 👍
Very simple: material postprocessing is horrendous. And at the end of the days, trays did not track as well as zendura made did and were breaking. We tried in 2020 and again last year… For the cost, if you simply gave the cost of the materials at $4-6, you should stick to the cost of materials for thermoforming as well and that is $2-7 depending on material choice. Labour cost for DPA is even higher as work is more tedious: where you said, there is a reduction of steps, they are actually more time demanding. Several of our patients also had that appeared as allergic reaction that we had not experienced in years of forming. So the future is going to be in DPA but we are not there yet.
@mudriy72 I'm agree with you. It doesn't cost less. Post-processing is time consuming.
Again sorry you had that experience.. I imagine you went to South Korea to take the training if you were using Graphy early on as we did.. but I feel that we must be doing a different workflow than you did if you found it highly difficult and to be as labor intensive as thermoforming and trimming. In terms of tracking and breaking, given the level accuracy and thickness control direct printing gives you and the number of successful cases and studies available, it might be worth connecting to see if we could help address the issues you were having. As to any reactions patients were having, this could suggest a problem in your post processing workflow or equipment.. the Tera Harz Cure unit is required and if it was malfunctioning or your nitrogen generator air supply pressure was perhaps too low, those could both be possible reasons. If you lookup "Advances in orthodontic clear aligner materials" on science direct as an example, you can see in Table 2 that the TC-85 material had the best biocompatibility results of all the different aligner materials tested in the study, including Zendura. We would love to help if you would like to try again at some point.@@mudriy72
I think you are confused. There are reports of allergic reaction to the material among users and all early adopters followed the protocol to the T. I hope you know the main reason of boiling water at the end…. It is to verify full cure. I cured monomer turn yellowish in boiling water. By I understand that your dento-medical knowledge is better than mine since you could afford the comment above. Good luck with your endeavor.

what was the third pen guy say ? missed that
Amazing to hear the impact it has had - here in the UK there is also a need for something like your remote response offering
Great content
Good conversation! Thanks for this. I switched to Spark the moment it was available in my country, more then 3 years ago. Better software (in my opinion) Better quality aligners Open to all scanners (Invisalign shoots themselves in the foot with their closed system, I think they will lose a lot of customers by doing so) But, invisalign is not a bad system at all, and they are a little quicker in the production, however, I like Spark more. I have been using Invisalign since 2001, but ditched it for Spark and have never regretted it!
Content creator (of this video), you seem to have an unremarkable amount of any kind of intelligence. Plus, very little genuine charisma. Please stop.
Thank You Glenn.
Starting my pre-dental journey at 34, left 10 years of working in tech to do this, loved this!
Everyone’s “love language” is money.
Very very helpful. Thank you!
I have heard this advice before and I definitely agree with the practice. My only concern is my lack of reference on what the “3years” should look like. I’ll figure it out in soon enough but still. Any advice would help and be appreciated
great info!
You are doing great!!!!
