Dunlop in Hopkinsville, works on industrials. Also from what I understand, Ed in Indianapolis is still working on industrials.

Do you think this is easier and/or faster than using a rolled hem foot (I've never used one of these and am researching it, which is why I'm asking)? What about curves? Thank you

Hello! I noticed you did not trim off the excess of the leg and you adviced us to serge fabrics separately, is there a reason why not trim off the excess??? Thank you so much! Love the way you explain everything in detail!

Perfect! So many instructions and folk just go by the boring 108-width backing. I am working on my first quilt and the choice of boring backings almost stopped me from proceeding. I was going to straight sew quilting cotton into the backing dimension I needed. Thank you for this video that helps novices and experienced folk alike.

First off, you are comparing a mechanical sewing machine to a electronic sewing machine. Obviously the Bernina has a metal chassis and in the other one which is a very cheap piece of crap has plastic. There are many sewing machines out there that have metal chassis. Why are you trying to deceive people? Compare apples to apples next time! Very disappointed with this video!

I wonder what the ratio of seam fabric to remove is as it relates to the amount of rise that is shortened. For instance I would need to shorten my rise by about 2-3 inches so I should seam out how far down? 12 inches or 2 feet?

Still waiting anxiously. Would we just sew binding on before sew shoulders by sewing on front and back strips like armholes?

I watched it a second time and have now sewed and have my backing ready Perfect, now I can use up lots of fabric that looks good too. Not many choices when it comes to 108" widths. Thank you so much.

This adjustment reminds me how patterns used to be drafted. The front leg always had a 4-5 inch section to “ease”.

Well explained video but I would be disappointed if it finished up looking like that. Why didn’t you make the stitches closer together? Not a good advert for a Bernina.
