Such a sad black day way back in 1977. I was just nine years old but I will never forget where I was when I heard the news he had died. This song, video, so sad, but so fitting for that day. Unbelievable, unbelievable amount of flowers sent for his funeral. I'm not sure we will ever see anything quite like this again for a celebrity funeral. Princess Diana has come the closest. Glad I knew who he was, glad I was alive when he was no matter how short a time frame. Sad, sad day.
