  as well as currently the tuya platform doesn't show the parameters UUID and key, and it affects the way to use the python tuyalink SDK apis. Does anyone know how to solve this missmatch?

  you can also request thourgh the tuya platform for a longer period like 6 months or so, free of charge for personal development. It gets approved quite fast.

  Beware that they changed their Free Trail Time to one month so that you must renew the IoT Core Free-Trail Subscription every month or pay a lot of money for a longer period. Hopefully with matter everything will change to local so that you don't mess with this anymore. Wrong decision @tuya

  This Video did not reflect the GUI of Tuya Development. Several things for example Link App by Account did not exists. So far I tried what fits, HomeKit I can add the Bridge, but none of the Devices I configured on the Smartlife App show up.

  make sure you added the (EU?) servers correctly in the config file and on the Tuya platform, after that all was working fine for me

  check that you set the server to the correct place. I did the same thing, you can check what server you should be using here: developer.tuya.com/en/docs/iot/oem-app-data-center-distributed?id=Kafi0ku9l07qb

  I'm getting ready to ditch Tuya devices. The plugin gives me 1106 errors, and I know all the values are correct. May as well ditch the workarounds since its obvious homekit isn't important to them.

  I just got that error and just fixed it, basically the username and password was the ones used to login to the actual mobile app rather than the iot portal.

  Yes! for such an easy think... in Germany we would say "Mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schießen" :-/ i will return my Sensor, because it doesnt show up in my homekit

  i have followed all the steps but i cant see tuya v2 in the hacs repo..what am i doing wrong? ...Edit.... (Ok I think have installation of tuya V2 via hacs is no longer supported or broken) I had to install tuya via the first method in the official video. using SMB, transfering the custom folder I downloaded from github directly into the root home assistant directory. Install SMB add-on in home assistant and configure the server , then drop files into root, restart Hass and search integrations for tuya v2

  Compliments for Tuya to allow integration with HA. But I don't want a cloud account. Even localTuya needs cloud account, I don't want that. I have HA to not have any cloud accounts for any hardware. Please make it completely local with no cloud account required.

  Good to see this. Though it’s a bit weird that this is an offical first party integration, yet requires us end users to jump through developer hoops for API access. I’d like to see them ditch that and just have OAuth or such instead.

  After adding the Integration and rebooting HA, when I do Add Integration I only see Tuya and LocalTuya, I don't have Tuya V2. Any idea what I have done wrong, I have tried it a couple of time, I can see the files in the custom components

  I have the same problem. We develop a OEM tuya platform and the IT members only tell that its not possible ( thing that we all ready know) but they don't tell how can it be done, even when they charge for the app, and all the charges regarding to support :S

  @@TheRoduzeb Turns out it was a cache issue, need to clear the browser cache and reopen and Tuya V2 then appeared

  Completed all this, all my entities are showing up in tuya IOT platform. In HA i can log in without errors, however none of my devices are showing up?? In tuya IOT I had to use Europe as the country for all devices to show. In HA i also chose Europe, and country code +61 for Australia. No errors and the integration is added, but no entities show like in the video… any ideas ????

  I'm trying to log in, but I can't. Although the password logs are correct. The standard tuya integration works fine for me, and the localtuya integration also works without issue. And here an authorization error is displayed. Any ideas?
