I did a little storytelling of my own. Is it correct? I would like to know if there are any grammatical errors. Here's how it goes - "I was in my office yesterday. I was working as usual when suddenly i got a call from my home. It was my wife on the other side. She seemed to be apprehensive. I asked her, What happened? She said, Our son has a fever. It's been 6 hours. It hasn't worn off yet. What do i do? She asked. I asked her to take him to hospital. She asked me what if they admitted our son. I told her that we would see to it later if he had to be admitted & asked her to take him to a doctor first. She said okay to me & hung up the call. I tried getting back to work but the thought of my son being ill was stressing me out. I started getting worried about him. I couldn't focus on the work at all. I decided that i should go as well. I got up from the chair & went to have a talk with my boss. I asked him if he could grant me a leave for half day. He asked me, What do you need it for? I narrated everything to him. He got it & let me go to my son. I went to the hospital my wife had taken our son to. However when i reached they weren't there. I got to know from the receptionist that they had already left." I used both indirect & direct speech for the narration in the story.
