Resting Witch Face

Resting Witch Face

Hi and welcome, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a 62 yr old granny of 8, but I'm not ready for a rocking chair and gameshows! I obtained a Hippy Dippy degree online as a "Master Herbalist" when I was in my 50's, and love making tinctures and potions! I jokingly refer to myself as a "Witch Doctor". I'm also quite crafty and do a lot of DIY projects, and I'm always looking for ways to save money! My hubby and I will be retiring soon and we will be on a fixed income so I desperately need to learn how to cut corners! Our plan is to buy a van and start traveling! Also I'm a recent empty nester and I'm learning how to cope with that. Join me as I navigate through this chapter of my life!

"Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off" - legendary video on youtube. Watch and learn. Drinking water - use Celtic Salt. Your hydration will be much better, because you need certain minerals to get water into your cells, only drinking water is not enough to hydrate your cells. GOUT equals fructose, especially glucose-fructose syrup.

8 Months Carnivore here. The PG&E guy working on my meter asked how old I was, and I blew his mind saying I was turning 41 this year. He commented that I looked very fit for my age and it blew his mind when I told him it's thanks to carnivore. Also, saw Deadpool last night, home and in bed by 1130. Woke up at 545am, fully rested, no pains, and energy. Don't quit, you're doing it right!

Good for you. the only way to find out if it works is to try it. Do not hate anybody, including yourself. starting carnivore is not easy. The hardest part is to let go of everything you thought you knew about dietary advice. Once you feel the benefits, everything will make sense.

When I saw your title I came to tell you that even if you hate me, I love you. I have been carnivore for over a year now. I have been on and off low carb for decades so I don't/didn't have diabetes, high blood pressure, depression or anything else that caused me to be medicated. I thought I felt pretty darn good being clean keto but, man, carnivore is a whole new level. I am 71 and started sprinting and lifting weights. I feel like a superwoman. I could go on and on about the benefits of carnivore even over keto. I would encourage you to stop saying that you are not a meat eater. Maybe you didn't used to be a meat eater but I would argue that now that's changed and you may now proudly proclaim, "I am a meat eater". Also watch Dr. Chaffee's video, the truth about cholesterol. Best of luck to you.

We have been lied to all of our lives, but the internet has allowed information to be much more easily shared without the censorship of the government. The one thing I would say to anybody changing their diet, no matter what you are changing to, is to do it slowly. You stomach has developed a biome based on your diet and when you change suddenly, your stomach is going to give you all kinds of digestive issues until it adapts to your new eating habits. I take cheese sticks to work for snacking on. Just be sure to check the label because sometimes they add stuff that you probably don’t want to eat.

  • @freeheartsmovement

YT stuck this in my feed, and I had to see why you hated me! Phew. My why was my hands. Base of thumb arthritis. I started in October '23 to go lower oxalates and lower carbs. And I started watching gobs of YT videos. Discovered all the normal YT carnivore channels. Was losing weight and feeling a little better. But in Jan after eating a beef stroganoff meal minus the noodles, my gut had a fit and I decided to do carnivore as an elimination diet. Oh, please don't quit if your cholesterol goes up. It likely will! Go listen to Zoe Harcombe and Dr. Paul Mason. Mainstream docs just treat a number. Can recommend a whole bunch of other docs if you need reassurance. Best of luck. Enjoy that granddaughter!

7 years on the vegan diet ruined my health and destroyed my athletic body. I had pre-diabetes, Cushings Syndrome and autoimmune disorders. 3 month on Carnivore diet and I went from 37+" waistline to 32"! And lost ALL of my visceral fat. 2+ years on it and now 30" waistline, and six pack abs at 60 y.o. I'm back to my H.S. body. This is the true human diet. Cut out seed oils and carbs, starches, and all sugars including fruits and fructose.

Great to hear you're feeling good! Good onya! You'll notice improvements in things you never thought you had a problem with! I try to let nothing sweet pass my lips - except a nice woman - I wish! I don't have any sugar cravings just stevia in my coffee which I need to stop, I know. I keep recommending the CD to my ex, but she reckons she can't eat much meat. She's had the jab, & cancer, so I warned her she has even more of a reason to go that way. I mean, in a way I don't care if she lives or dies, but she is the mother of my children, two of which still live with her. You've pretty much gotta forget everthing you were ever told about nutrition when it comes to the carnivore diet! Even salami or beef jerky is ok if you need a snack! - Or more meat! Nuts have oxalates. It'd be good to get off them if you can. Don't forget eggs too! They're the #2 best food you can eat!

Great video and congrats on your decision. Don't be discouraged by the APPEARANCE that the KZread carnivores have it all together -- everyone's story is different and I think all of us have struggles before getting to that point. You won't find a more supportive community of people. I'm 18 months in carnivore but went through the same process you're going through now -- took me 18 months before I made the decision to go full on carnivore. Unless you're dealing with an imminent threat to your health, baby steps are the way to go. Be kind to yourself and wishing you great success. PS: Don't "quit" over BP or cholesterol numbers without more research -- there's more to both of those stories. ❤

You remind me so much of myself. Everything you say in your videos is exactly what I said or how I felt when I first found carnivore. I've been carnivore for almost 3 months and like you I was not a meat eater. I wish I could afford to eat rib eyes every day, but I can't. I also can't eat hamburger meat every day. Not because of the cost but because I just got sick of eating it.I realized early on that if I was going to have any chance of doing this then I needed a variety. I eat red meat of course but I also eat chicken and chicken salad and tuna salad that I make with a zero-carb avocado mayo. I started making meat loaves because I realized how much more I enjoyed eating that instead of burgers. The point I'm trying to make is that everyone is different and you have to do what works for you. You look great! I can see the difference in your face already and if you're feeling good and losing weight then you're on the right track. Don't worry so much about being keto or carnivore. Lowering your carb intake and removing sugar and processed food is the only thing that really matters. Will I stay carnivore or end up ketovore, who knows. All I know is that I'll be eating healthier than I ever did in the last 57 years of my life. P.S. If you've never seen his videos, check out Dr. Eric Westman. You'll thank me for it, lol. Best of luck ❤

They are now very disappointed because my tastes have changed and the fat on the steak is now a treat. I never thought I would say that but I know my body is loving a high saturated animal fat, low carb zero sugar diet. I've lost 20 lbs in a couple of months and at 5'10"" and less that 200lbs, I didn't have a huge amount to lose. I have bags of energy and mental clarity. I recommend that you all try it for a couple of weeks, what do you have to lose. Keep on keeping on 🙂

I don't take any electrolyte supplements. But, I do put lots of different quality salts on my food or sometimes in the water I'm drinking. I also add to the other salts a low sodium salt because it contains potassium and magnesium (no caking agents). But it's true, cramps can be a problem when you start this way of eating. You need to adjust your water intake (not enough and too much will get you cramps) and use lots of high quality salts.

Hi , I just got out of the hospital ( for only the 2nd time in 56 years) Unfortunately this was a doozie ! I was attacked on the street at a bus stop & after being struck on both sides of the head by a violent teen , I fell hard on the concrete & broke my left upper femur just below the ball joint. The pain was excruciating I could not lift my left leg at all and , if not for the kindness of 2 strangers & the quick response of the Philadelphia police and EMT unit I might not be able to write this at all..... Ironically I had fasted almost 2 days as I was working on some health issues & , as I was alone on the 4th & with all the country is currently going through I felt more like meditating & healing then just hedonistic hollow celebrations. The fast helped & I continued it though the next day vowing to try carnivore for a couple days , and , as the next day was a big block party I bought a big roll of hamburger for Saturday. As I was X rayed & was awaiting the confirmation of the break , I decided to do Reiki to ease the pain.A nurse actually knew what I was doing & encouraged me , turning off the TV & some lights & making things much more quiet. I got quite a shock when a young surgeon, seeing the x ray , said how long had I fasted & he said he was an intermittent faster himself. He said ,if you don't eat or drink he could get me in surgery within 12 hrs.I quicky agreed. He was better than his word , and I had a rod put in my leg with the operation starting in only 6 hrs ! I have a 5 +yr history of reversing my type II in 40 days using IF , low /no carb / Keto etc ..,..following an amputation of a gangerous R great toe in October of 2018.I lost 67 lbs in a few months.& kept it off. Since then I have lost another 35 or so prior to this latest oddessy. It was amazing how many docs / nurses / & other hospital folks KNOW the current low fat , high carb diet for diabetics is out rightly wrong ! Re electrolytes , a little Himalayan salt in plain water/ and /or a little fresh lemon juicé can help with that some may use a little kelp powder if you can stomach it.I , like you will do some full carnivore, fasting, meditation etc ...Good luckbto you❤ & urs...

been carnivore for 3 days my morning sugar still blah blah lol spikes in the morning starts to go down around 12pm by 2-3pm its in the normal type 2 of about 120-140 till I wake back up again. just nice to be normal more hours of the day then before and to not be on insulin anymore. I be afraid if I took insulin I drop to low on the parts of the day its 120-140 which is about 16 hours of the day now. Heard it can take 6-8 months to get the morning sugars back to normal though. Not to worried about it have a cgm so I can see what spikes me and what does not and the biggest spikes I get now are morning and exercise which are both normalish as everyone spikes in the morning. I am more broken cause It takes hours to get back to normal instead of say 1-2 hours max like a metabolically healthy person would be.

@@freeheartsmovement When on Carnivore you will fast anyway. You eat and can go without food very long time if you full. " So eat all you want " still depends on WHAT you eat. Futhermore, cancer eats sugar...not rocket science anymore. Good luck on your Carnivore journey and all the best from Sweden.
