D.C ? Oh
This is exactly what I expect from any site near DC. Not shocking at all.
Have you sold it yet. I’m interested
It has sold.
Slippers makes the frames to the manufactures specs. The manufacturers are to blame.
Wouldn’t your slides out be more for the high winds to catch like a sail? I’m on the NE side of Houston with the possible high winds of Hurricane Beryl coming. Don’t think I should let them out!
One thing I’d like to point out about hooking a camper to a truck would help if you had tension bars. I don’t know for sure but they mount to hit frame and will not allow the camper to roll like it would on a hitch ball
love❤❤❤❤the drawers under the bed!
What good are chocks going to be when the wind is hitting you broadside? In order for a camper to be safest during storms and high wind, there has to be a way to anchor it to the ground.
Well, in my mind, the tires would act as a pivot point for the camper in broadside winds. The chocks should help keep the tires from rolling... Should I no longer use wheel chocks? Do you anchor your camper to the ground at campgrounds when you experience strong storms? How long are the anchors you use, and what kind of straps? How many do you use per side, and what kind of weight does it add to your camper when traveling? Are the campgrounds ok with you driving stakes into the ground in their campsites?
What are the names of the great people at GD that helped you??? We are about to go down the same path. Thx!!
I had the same problem with michelin tires. MICHELIN said it is okay to have those crack. They reimburse me the thread left that was left on tires and bought new tires. They will honor their satisfaction policy but the crack is okay to them.
Interior height?
82 inches in the middle, and 78 inches where the ceiling meets the exterior walls.
So you "don't have to try to figure out how to run that air conditioner"??? whaaa?
Who ever is Buying these Units didn't do their Homework , they buy them , then bitch about the Product they bought .
DON’T run your generator. There isn’t any reason to run a generator with today’s technology. Update your rig. Your need for a generator is not my problem. If you need all the comforts of home,.. don’t leave home. I don’t want to listen to your noise pollution, be it a generator, be it a big screen, be it your surround a sound. All this urban junk invades my quiet enjoyment of nature.
Hey can you turn comments off on this video. Wouldn't want your feelings to get hurt!
I wouldnt by grand design if my life depended on it based off of all the youtube videos I have seen.
Great video and super helpful! Personally I love HomeFi and am constantly using it as a full time RVer that has to work remotely. It has been the best and most reliable option i've tried so far.
Homefi customer service has been crap. Zen desk powered and by appointment. Obviously a reseller of refurbished Solis device. Access via Solis app sometimes they help other times act like they can't. After had cross words with a chris at homefi, service has spiraled down and have to call after every shutdown if device to connect to a tower. My rant on Homefi. Used to love it and had it year and half
I had one of those Ryobi impacts, junk. Wouldn't take the lugs off of my motorhome. Went and bought a DeWalt, awesome. I'll never buy a Ryobi tool again. The Ryobi said it had a 200ftlb torque. The lugs were torqued to 140ftlb. The DeWalt is 375ftlb. Both cordless.
Forgot to mention heat/ massage sofa
It's only a recliner sofa. It does not have heat and / or massage function. Thanks for watching!
That was in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Yeah you were in the epicenter of Meth. I’m sorry that you had that experience.
Greetings. Thanks for your experiences. I think additional information that would be helpful. Generally what is your source of power? If you primarily camp off grid, you'll be more likely to campbin open spaces, and therefore starlink might still be an option. Also, I think it's important for viewers to understand that there is never a one solution fits all cases. So redundancy is always best: especially since you are mobile nomads. Best.
Happy for you. Enjoy
I've been seeing a lot of these RV videos in my feed lately. They don't look very well built, or safe. Are they made in China?
Grand Design suckered you guys so sorry.
Love this model. Would love to see a tankless hot water heater, rear cargo door, spray port near the kitchen, corner medicine cabinet, curved shower rod, spray faucet at the kitchen sink and those narrow two burner cooktops to allow for more counter space. Also, not too crazy about the new dark blue interior. Would like to just see something more neutral.
17K is for me
Feel free to give me a call if you are interested in one on our lot. We have 4 of them currently. 509-924-6800
Where do you find the hot water? Heater bypass Valves on a 2024 Salem hemisphere 271RL.
Dang I feel for you guys. Also I had high hopes for Grand Design… I’ll have to look through your channel to see how it turns out.
I laugh when the camper is labeled off road edition but the fridge is electric lol! 😂😂
Why is that?
Kudo's to AF for updating their colors....this interior is so much nicer than their 80 shades of brown
😂.... It makes a big difference!
Agree that slides should be out during winds, for a wider center of gravity, and obviously fill tanks.
Love this trailer but can’t access bathroom when slide in and this is deal breaker
Thank you for watching!
Please tell me the generator isn’t under the bedroom
Just like the majority of all other trailers that have a generator, it is.
@@TravelsAbound what a horrible design for any of the makers to do
@@TravelsAbound that’s the dumbest idea trailer makers came up with. Just what anyone wants lol a generator roaring while your trying to sleep
Has anyone just got fed up and took the thing in and have the frame fixed on their own? I would box the frame. Have some plates made up. Level it or add a little camber, have it welded.
What a dump, looks like alot of folks down on their luck live there.
Any chance you can include the tank sizes in your reviews? Thanks so much.
Absolutely! I will from now on. Thanks for watching!
Your wife is awesome with helping you back that thing out. So encouraging and calm.
Lipert does not design the frame! They are given specs
Just got into the camper life. It's been one month and a half me and dog we love it what's the greatest thing ever. I'm blessed my inheritance really paid off wonderful way to live
My 2005 prowler has a wooden frame built on a metal frame, this was so they could install the water lines in the wooden frame. I have a damaged line rotting the back of the bottom of my trailer now. Cast iron 1/4 inch metal frame until you hit the front.
Peplink is pricey but it's a the best you can get. Peplink is the best system out there and if you run a starlink with it it's even better
Arctic Fox makes a good rig.
Thanks for watching Jonathan!
What is the price of this unit?
Hi Tracie. I don't share the current sale price as stated in my videos because I don't want to misrepresent the price. They change from time to time but can be found at rvsnorthwest.com. You are more than welcome to call me tomorrow at the number listed in the description, and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this rv. Thank you for watching!
I bought a new single axle travel trailer in 2019 with 14" endurance tires dated late 2018. After 10- 12k miles best honest guess, one tire has scary severe cracking around diameter between the outside treads. Looks like it could come apart anytime. The other tire is fine. The good part is both have minimal tire wear. Changing them out today.
Some things can't be fixed. RV's are being built now that can't hold up to buyer expectations for regular highway travel. They build to a price point knowing well that these weak boxes will fall apart if subjected to even moderate highway use.
Nice looking rig. Hope more companies start making roofs like this one. Nice quality. Big very nice rig.
Hey Jonathan! I agree. The fiberglass roof is a big plus. Thanks for watching! Safe travels to you and your family!
How does a person get to that superior level of service person?
When the problem is at the assembly line, then I see no future corrections for these poorly built RVs and travel trailers.
Nice
Thanks for watching!
