IF he could hook that engine to a modern, go-kart torque converter there would be no shifting and my GUESS is much faster time! The TQ operates on a triangular shape, which is basically infinite gear ratios.
Funny how everyone thinks is a better driver and probably never drove a big turbo supra. You all would probably be afraid like that guy was, the car has trouble going straight, its not stable, so he was being careful. Maybe he bought the car heavily modded and is getting the hang of it. Maybe needs alignment and body work, who knows. As much as id like to see it haulin, I dont judge the guy.
To all of you saying the Vette left early, watch again. He left on the drop of the flag. The Audi driver had a bad reaction time. Notice that at the end of the race, they are in the same position they were when they left the line, so the Vette is at least as fadt as the Audi.
