Hello, I’m curious about if it is allowed to use an umbrella while taking pictures in a match, or are you only allowed to protect the camera from the rain? Regards

Great video Rob, only just discovered you, but so glad I have. I have started photographing my local football (soccer) club here in the UK, and trying to document their performance win loose or draw, I hope im on the right tracks as I'm trying my hand at vlogging at the match too and uploading to my youtube channel, much like you have done in this video. Great to see the fans in the US are as passionate as they are in the UK. Going to binge watch more of your content, hopefully I can pick up some pointers and tips along the way. Regards Geoff

I think it is more easy to send your photos by Wi-Fi than take out the memory card every time. I have made my self a portable router that i connect to my camera Nikon D4s, then i can use that router and send photos from all my cameras to the laptop via my privat network with super fast speed.

Excellent video. You use the 300 f2.8. Do you find that it has enough reach? Many prefer the 400mm f2.8 or the 100-400/ rf 100-500 for day game ( zooms)Curious as to what your thoughts are
@PeterGrace20132 жыл бұрын
I shot a game with the R5 and RF 100-500 and from my position at the far side of the right-field dugout, I shot many of my pitcher shots at 290-300mm and home plate shots were oftentimes at 150-200mm. I feel like 400 is too deep for the infield but probably would be better for close-up second base shots and wider outfield.

I always carry the waterproof camera gear for my camera, lenses in my pelican wheeled cases as I have a few cases from pelican the 1510, 1560 & 1610 cases. depending on where I’m going in the world I use the 1510 mainly when flying abroad as it allows me to bring onboard as hand luggage. I keep my laptop & my own waterproof clothing in my pelican Backpack .most of the year I have my goretex waterproof shoes but at winter time I use the hunting boots.
