The hard facts alone - the >4k OLED display per eye, control via eye-tracking, external cameras - put the Quest 3 in its place. But what actually counts is something the Quest will never be able to: integrate seamlessly into Apples eco system. If that's not important for you: brilliant, don't buy it. For people like me who already own almost every Apple product, the level of integration is just unrivalled and as seamless as possible. Just take the latest Vision OS 2 upgrades with iPhone mirroring or this huge screen coming to Mac mirroring later this year. Everything is just so smooth and feels right. The Quest is just a toy in comparison. You can have *something like that* with the Quest, sure. It's like comparing a sports car for 1 million dollars vs one for 200k dollars - both will be "fast enough" and blah.

@@uNki23 m8 trust me, the only thing Vision Pro has is the resolution, we’ve had all those features for years 😂 even get text notifications from apple phones to Quest the past THREE YEARS 🤣 and it’s not restricted to apple, you can seamlessly connect to both PC and MAC 😂

I can't tell you how many of these types of videos I've trawled through on YT ... I think this one is the best Ive seen. It's AE and Prem focussed, and the guy sounds genuinely bored and says things like 'shits and giggles', unlike asshole 'KZreadr personalities'.

I have been using just one since they dropped and it is no theatre quality, but has enough bass and volume to keep me satisfied. Been very satisfied with that purchase. 2 stereo paired would be a powerhouse. Good luck man!

If you buy a display link compatible docking station and download the display link drivers on your Mac it will allow you to hook up to two external displays and still utilize your Mac screen for the third all while utilizing one usb-c port. I personally use a dell D6000 docking station for my Mac

I’ve the m2 MacBook Air and using DaVinci resolve, free version. I’m VERY new to video editing and am mainly using it to desqueeze anamorphic footage….its an utterly miserable experience. Extremely slow, constantly have to relink videos to their source which only works less than half the time when portions of the video go mysteriously missing. Idk how others edit with this version. I have the base model, so I think I’ll be moving to the Mac Studio

Thank you! My ipad (10.5" pro 2017) is dying a slow death but I am going to hold on for a new mini..hopefully not too long. btw, what is the black circle next to the flash? There is the camera, lidar sensor, flash, mic and ..something? What is that thing?

Hey there Martin! It is the "Rear ambient light sensor" lol. Lots of circles on the back now. It's a pretty crazy iPad these days. I have been seeing rumored minis with OLED displays coming soon, hopefully it will be this Tandem OLED because it looks really nice and full. All these new iPads will be a nicer price by the time your old reliable dies. Thanks for checking out the new vid and hope all is going well over there!

@@TheFloodLightShow Oh, thanks, that makes sense. My iPad was sadly not very reliable, the first one had the white spot issue and it's replacement (under warranty) has had touch screen problems along with a dying battery.. it is a real pain to use. Maybe the fall event will bring some new goodies.

I am always advising video editors to go for the pro, it's definitely worth it for us, even for 1080p editing. sd card reader, cooling vents, more ports, it will definitely give you a few years of good power. If you can bump up the ram, that will give you some wiggle room for future endeavors, faster exports etc. Good luck with the decision and thanks for checking out the vid ✌️

Unfortunately I don't have very good recommendations in that dept, sorry Larry. I am using an old mic stand currently, not the best setup but these amarans are super light and I can still have that heavy dome hanging off the front. I do have a couple of the Neewer C-stands and those rock, with a nice price also. Good luck finding the right fit and thanks for checking out the video✌️

I would not use one. The space between the screen and the keyboard is almost inexistent. Adding a thin plastic layer between them might be detrimental to the hinges,

@@guaiqueritech I see... Well, there is a paper between screen and keyboard when we unbox the MacBook for the First time. Thus, I think there is some space for a thin film to protect the screen

@@levii_i678 Indeed there is. but consider: 1) the paper is meant to be removed upon unboxing. The film will adhered to your screen. Whatever damage it may do to the hinge will be over time. 2) the paper is really thin. I would say the plastic film is thicker, if only by microns, but considering the small tolerances Apple builds these laptops with, I would not risk it

If you don't want OLED, then yes. Every tablet should be good enough. It is what it is, a tablet. I bought the iPad Pro m4 because I wanted a better screen on my tablet. That's my priority.

Hey there, it's the OtterBox Statement Series for the 13 inch but I actually don't recommend it. Otterbox has another one called the Symmetry series that I like better. Whatever you do, don't buy an apple smartfolio case, those are a rip off. Thanks for watching and hope that helps!

Hello... Thanks for the video. I just need some clarification. If I'm editing videos below 4K, how does the 8GB MacBook Air with the M3 chip perform? Or should I consider the 2022 8GB MacBook Pro instead?
I am always advising video editors to go for the pro, it's definitely worth it for us, even for 1080p editing. sd card reader, cooling vents, more ports, it will definitely give you a few years of good power. If you can bump up the ram, that will give you some wiggle room for future endeavors, faster exports etc. Good luck with the decision and thanks for checking out the vid ✌️

which stand do you recomend for the amaran 150c?
Unfortunately I don't have very good recommendations in that dept, sorry Larry. I am using an old mic stand currently, not the best setup but these amarans are super light and I can still have that heavy dome hanging off the front. I do have a couple of the Neewer C-stands and those rock, with a nice price also. Good luck finding the right fit and thanks for checking out the video✌️
What do you think about using a screen protector (simple one, made of plastique)?
I would not use one. The space between the screen and the keyboard is almost inexistent. Adding a thin plastic layer between them might be detrimental to the hinges,
@@guaiqueritech I see... Well, there is a paper between screen and keyboard when we unbox the MacBook for the First time. Thus, I think there is some space for a thin film to protect the screen
@@levii_i678 Indeed there is. but consider: 1) the paper is meant to be removed upon unboxing. The film will adhered to your screen. Whatever damage it may do to the hinge will be over time. 2) the paper is really thin. I would say the plastic film is thicker, if only by microns, but considering the small tolerances Apple builds these laptops with, I would not risk it
I wouldn’t mind the extra wait time to have a lighter portable machine thankfully both can do the same work just at a different rate

If you don't want OLED, then yes. Every tablet should be good enough. It is what it is, a tablet. I bought the iPad Pro m4 because I wanted a better screen on my tablet. That's my priority.

Hey there, it's the OtterBox Statement Series for the 13 inch but I actually don't recommend it. Otterbox has another one called the Symmetry series that I like better. Whatever you do, don't buy an apple smartfolio case, those are a rip off. Thanks for watching and hope that helps!
