  • @HankOutdoors8052

No, you have General waters which is stock fish. Opens first Saturday of April. Then the wild waters. You can use a rod and reel but have to use a fly or single hook spinners. Nothing scented

Nice little assortment you got there Hank. I keep thinking about doing a video on what everybody needs to carry in their first Aid kit and you might want to consider it as it's saved my bacon after a deep cut and that is a container of Ceyenne Pepper. I carry that and it will stop a real bad cut from bleeding and it's cheap too, lol. Have a great weekend my friend.

6:37 You are going to hurt yourself if you keep that up. You shouldn't be chopping at wood while holding you hands and fingers near it like that. With that 'hatchet' if you are going to be trying to process wood use a baton. It's not heavy enough to use like you would a real axe/hatchet. I highly recommend you get a folding saw to make wood gathering and processing easier for you. I have no doubt you were extremally cold throughout the night and probably slept very little based on what i saw in the video. You may want to consider a better shelter set up for colder weather, some additional gear and prepare a bit more next time.

I never went out and spent a lot on gear for camping. Always carried two, 15x20 tarps, 2-3 shower curtains, at least 4 mylar blankets, a ball of twine, (para cord is over rated to me, although I do carry it), my mess kit, water purifier kit, aluminum foil, p-38 opener, a good ax, a machete, I did splurge on the knife, matches, lighter, feral rod, duct tape, a good flashlight and lamp. I carry coffee that comes in tea like bags, powdered milk, powdered eggs, sugar substitute, and vacuum packed foods from home. Since I do not worry about having to make videos, I have more room for things.
