Dear alex, i love your breakdowns! Its fr fr a learning public service! Pleeease dont stop! I was thinking if youd consider doing some minimal techno maybe like woody92 or strange fruits. Other than minimal maybe even deena abdelwahed tracks and also some like hard groove tracks from kinky tools Sending love, support from copenhagen!

Thanks for your creative insight ! On the topic of "planning VS going with the flow", sth i did on my last track was keeping a written log of what I did in every session and what should be done in the next one, like "27/04/2024 added this synth, that kick layer, should add some high percussions and *rethink the bassline because it's too prominent*", etc. It may seem like a hassle to some because I guess it really depends on your personality, but I found it super helpful as someone who doesn't have a lot of musical skill nor time on their hands to make techno but likes being organized. It allowed me to do things fast without second guesses, keep a clear memory of where the project is going, all while still leaving some leeway and not sticking rigidly to what I was planning to do in the beginning. Good day to you too Alex ! The sun was up and shining in france today and the fascists just took a severe L so great day indeed

human feel comes from them using a mixing desk running old synths and drums through it plus tons of effects (reverb/delays/phaser) and muting the channnels live and twist the eqs..:) one of the greatest dub/techno/ambient tracks ever...

Hi, I've tried using AUX with SSL2 and it worked like how you show in this video. But what I'd like to know is, is there a way to send MIDI signal (create a MIDI track) instead of an audio track? What I want is to use sound library in my Casio (not VST) but still want the flexibility of adjusting things around on a MIDI track. I can't seem to find this info anywhere.

had similar thoughts when trying to analyse his sounds (he's my favorite producer) the interesting part is, that its still not annoying even if its in your face. yes please do some breakdowns! I am having fun with bandpass filters + modulation or sequencing those with different flavours of noise.

I feel like a lot of those filtered breakdown drifts were done with the help of IRCAM's Audiosculpt, which was a really unique visual audio editing software from the time. The hidden Spectograms on this EP makes me think this even more, as you could make these images using Audiosculpt.
