    Would this work for conventional car tires too, like a Toyota Corolla?

  • @RotarySolutions

    Sorry, but this tire changer is designed to work on large heavy duty truck tires. The tire changers we offer for standard size tires would be the R146, R247d, R1150, and the R1200. Videos for all of these changers can be found on Rotary's KZread channel.

    the locks will not release and the car is up in the air and I need to raise it in order for the locks release. What can I do

  • @RotarySolutions
    @RotarySolutions3 ай бұрын

    You will need to raise the lift so that it is off of the locks. Then follow the instructions in this video to adjust the latch locks. Once adjusted you should be able to pull down on the lock release and the latch locks should disengage.

    Is this process done when the lift is sitting on a lock or not on a lock point? Up in the air or down on the ground?

  • @RotarySolutions
    @RotarySolutions3 ай бұрын

    Lock release cable adjustment should be done while the lift is NOT on the locks. It doesn't really matter if the lift is up in the air or down on the ground.

    When you press the blue button it should ask “Are you Sure?” with green and red yes/no options. This puts the system in Quick Check Mode. To get out of QCM press the Red Arrow Back Button until the box at the bottom of the screen is no longer outlined in blue.

  • @RotarySolutions

    Great question...The alignment system is mobile, meaning that there is no bulky tower so you do not need a dedicated bay. This true 3d system allows you to check a vehicle's alignment in any bay.

    I'm 65 and so tired of Les Schwab discount tire tire Rama you name it tire shops that are supposed to be state of the art ruining my wheels. Most recently Ford 20-in with PVD chrome on it wheel. Sad but I will have to buy one one these machines because the tire shops will not buy a center post machine....some saying there to slow. I'm a welder by trade and in comparison this would be like someone not wanting to spend the money on a quick change weld lense because they don't think the lense can change fast enough to protect their eyes. Thank you for this video as next year I will be purchasing one of these machines. I think it is better than a corghi am 50 which was my other choice.

    WHICH adjusting NUT controls WHICH SIDE? In other words, does right nut tighten left side or right side. @@RotarySolutions

    The nut on the right side controls the right side, this is the same with the left side. So, if the right (Power unit) side clicks last then you will need to tighten the right side to match the clicking on the left side.
