VERY USEFUL
Glad it was helpful!
"Alt + Enter" which is exactly what I was looking for decades. Thank you so much!!!
You're very welcome!
THANKS. YOUR VIDEO IS MUCH MORE HELPFUL THAN THE SOLUTIONS OFFERED BY OTHER VIDEOS.
there is no "series" in drop down
What version of Excel are you using
Can u help me how to do this in python using openpyxl
Sorry don't do python
Good video BUT you literally glanced over the biggest annoyance of hyperlinks 2:18 you click the hyperlink for income statement and Excel focuses on the first moment it can put the cell on the screen. When the vast majority of people click the Income Statement hyperlink they want it to focus to the top left of the screen not at the bottom or the far right of the screen. Is there a solcution to that issue?
Agreed . I have previously made the hyperlink go 30 rows lower than the actual cell within the calculation but no real ideal solution.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I looked everywhere online and the answers were useless and referred to the wrong menus. This was so simple and now I can continue to get my work done! Again, thank you!
You are welcome!
Helpful
Glad to hear that
Is there a way to do this that won't affect formulas?
So you want the formulas to keep looking at the same row as before. With this video technique the formulas would follow the cells? Quick suggestion would be to copy paste the formula down again from the top but not sure if this helps in your scenario.
Thanks ❗Nicely explained However I have another challenge Can you recommend settings for Pivot Table chart when using slicers🤔❓ For example: I have data (numbers for Jan ⬅➡ December) for years 2023 and 2024 On graph, data for 2023 is on primary axis and 2024 is on secondary axis I have changed the Series overlap and Gap width so that 2023 and 2024 data columns overlap When slicer is used to select off 2024 and then select back on, the secondary axis is disabled and both years default back to primary axis
You may need to think about putting in a phantom series that always stays on the secondary axis. I think excel will then remember that 2024 belongs there. Difficult within a pivot table though
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks boet
Thank you!!!!
Spot on. Thank you

Thanks so much. Hope it saved you hours of time
@Advanced_Excel it most definitely did!
It's so dumb how excel can produce such complicated formulas even pulling numbers out of other programs but can't recognize a date if its format is ever so slightly different from what it's used to. Great video, thank you.
THANKS <3
Pleasure
Thanks!
No problem!
This has been tremendously helpful - thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Does this also allow sorting?
Yes it should but for some reason you need to unprotected the heading cell as well
Thank you mate

Very nice...
Thank you! Cheers!
Short n sweet. Thank you!
Excellent. At 4:51, you mentioned you did not have the plus/minus symbol in your clipboard. If you turned clipboard history on, then you can store the plus minus symbol in your clipboard history and then retrieve it when you need it.
Nice and agreed.
Hum. This didn't work or me. When I type +, -, space, I get the error message "This is an incomplete formula".
Did you put it between quotes " in the custom format dialog box?
Thanks man.. that issue was really annoying and you solution helped! ✌
No problem 👍
I've been looking for this solution for the last few hours. Thank you for sharing this!

Sir ,your solution was awesome .... my job is done ... God B;ess
If I wanted to reference another sheet, but use an AND IF formula, there is an error message. Do you have any advice?

Great video. Thank you very much for the helpful explanation! Keep making great content.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing this. I'm using this function so that I can check if the answers I typed in a cell is correct or not, but I don't want to always know it, that's why having this function where I can turn the conditional formatting on and off whenever I want is really helpful in my studies. It speeds things up. Thanks again. I hope you're having a great day :)
good one, straight forward! Thanks!
