Conclusion: you can't make a Dante vs Kratos whiteout nerf dante. Kratos is incredible strong. Duty Dante is STUPIDLY strong.

Okay, so as self proclaimed critic and animation analyst, I have to point out a couple of things that kinda irks me but before that I do have to point out as someone who hasn’t personally experienced the world of devil may cry I have to make it known that my claims are only for kratos and the impact of his fight. For starters I have to give you props for pulling off an animation of this quality since in its own it’s still an amazing creation. While I am watching the video I started noticing that you’re using replicated animations from different sources, most notable one for me is the final confrontation of Dante pulling the baldur on kratos, which is perfectly fine and all as long as you make it known that you’re sourcing it, secondly the power between kratos punches and swings, at least to me, didn’t yield much power, there wasn’t enough economic destruction being applied since any fight I’ve seen kratos in has always amassed to some sort of destruction upon said field from trees to the very ground beneath him. The punches sound weak and very similar to Dante’s and as I said I don’t know much about him but he seemed much more of a speed type fighter who focuses more on quick and consistent blows rather than kratos usual style which is deadly and heavy yet continuous fighting style, for example the scene where he punched the massive stone pillar when he first fights baldur just to pull it down on him shows how much strength he can put behind his blows and much more. Just the biggest thing irking me of course there’s the blank faces here and there but there’s always room for development and there’s always people like me who like to nitpick for every small wrong pixel, Make sure to keep up that work ❤

Great fight. Yes. But please leave this to the professionals. We want a Death Battle. Dante didn't use his pistols, Kratos didn't use his chains. Dante didn't bother going DT. Kratos didn't bother raging. There was an overall lack of blood for what is potentially the best matchup possible. Kratos would not fatigue in the first few moments of the fight and neither would he be fatigued at the end becuase a Spartan never leaves his back on the ground. Period. Kratos outclasses him in every category though. Period.

All-in-all, the choreography is on point, but I find it lacking in terms of character. Dante's attacks don't seem to correlate to any of his in-game moves, and while Kratos is straightforward enough with his axe to be similar, in-game the shield is far more utilized. Not to mention how it would be to give them access to all of their equipment and abilities from a game of choosing (probably DMC5 and Ragnarok). So while this is good for what it is, the potential of such a fight between characters remains untapped.
