All in all great video, but doesn't all that turbocharged flame overheat the metal, causing it to degrade/make it more brittle (even if you don't melt it)? Think I'd rather use some mechanical process like a dremel with flexible cable and proper sanding/cleaning accessories...
ps. I realize that's a part that will anyway have gone through hundreds or thousands of high heat cycles, but I still doubt it will normally reach the temperatures caused by a direct flame like that... would be interesting to test that.

No VCDS? No time to get the laptop out? You can simply point an IR thermometer at the bottom of the ATF sump and the temp is the same as VCDS. I tested this
Hello my friend. I got my ALH (skoda octavia 2002) 10000 km ago and the old owner put 15w40, I put 10w40 and I noticed 8000 km after light smoke coming out of oil dipstick and filling hole. I think 10w40 is too light for the car that's why it smokes! I noticed also some oil on the crankcase breather ends and EGR valve! Engine is runnig very good no problems at all! Please support and advice. what is your oil change interval?

A '96 jetta came in that wouldn't get out of it's own way. Intake was so plugged only about an inch opening to breathe through. Used a hacksaw blade to scrape the majority of the crud out. It was stiff enough to scrape, and flexible enough to follow the runners. Used oven cleaner, gas grill, and pressure washer to finish it up.
The biggest problem with these transmissions is the valve body. The best thing u can do is put a transgo shift kit in before you even have an issue. People think these transmissions are junk but they almost always fail because the valve body has an issue and people keep driving which ruins the transmission.

In your video you didn't even show the car or state the car that you were working on you just described the transmission no video of the car itself other than underneath
You're very descriptive etc etc but all your videos have codes names numbers digits all this stuff of what types of transmissions. The general person does not know all that information. You should state year make models that your service applies to

You're not making 120v to power a laptop. Laptops don't require 120v to charge them

If the crankshaft, camshaft and pump have been locked, what is the need for the timing of the pump if its timing was correct before the belt change?
So the only reason i wanted to swap clusters was my speedo needle rests on the fuel gauge needle causing the fuel gauge to display incorrect amount. I see your needle is resting the same way mine is after you put it back together. What needs to be done?
Hello, excuse me, it could be possible to request a technical advice? See I have a vw Jetta MK4 automátic transmission 01M. The car suddenly fails on 3rd shift the check engine light is on. This is at 20/30 minutes to start. After that I normally park the car. Next day I start the car it's normally shifts, low speed no more than 3rd shift, I may clear the check engine light, car works perfectly. In your opinion what's the cause? ATF? shift solenoid? Also this failure started after a bad technician no trusted tune up the car, never gone again. Thanks for your help, I am desperately seeking help. 4 speed gearbox

I send it to service shop my golf alh tdi And It just crank no start and pressure fuel its low What can be prob bcz The Shop says its not fault on engine or pump but electrikal ?
Did u have get a new chip or can u use old ones from other fob

All of these videos say be careful not to round off the Allen bolts. Well I rounded 2 of them it is easy to do. Anyone have any advice how to get them out now?

Worked perfectly! Got 2 key fobs from Amazon for $30 each, had them cut at a local locksmith for $25 each. They said they couldn’t program them as they don’t have the “tool” but I said just cut the keys anyway. Followed your instructions when I got home and in about 5 minutes both keys programmed perfectly! At $55 per key investment we now have a few spares for my daughters Beetle. Thanks for the clear instructions❤😊
