It's cute. Obviously since it's based on a book I know you can't control the story, but I think it would be greatly improved if the female protagonist actually already had a crush on him and then the magic "no-lying" artifact forced her to confess. (I've only seen this animatic so I am guessing at the details, but I picked up from this animatic that the artifact seemed to force them both to tell the truth) And I think that the female protagonist should have just told 100% the truth--like, "I already like you. But it's not anything like true love--it's just infatuation--no...I mean...I just admire who you are as a person. BUT I would never ever act on my feelings. I'm not that type of person. I guess I don't know what that says about me...but you don't have to worry." Something along those lines. I just think that would be a much more interesting take.
Thank you! Yes, the device forces them to say the truth. And yes, I am limited by the book (which I love). But your suggestion is great too. I laughed out loud imagining your suggested dialogue/situation unfold. Soooo good.
@@MaruExposito :) Thanks. I'm working on developing an indie video game that's a romantic adventure story so that means a lot to me too to hear someone likes an idea I have. Let me know if you might be interested in reviewing my story--sorry for shameless plug. But, I figured I'd ask. I'm just getting started forming a team. Will need VAs too eventually.
I really hope he falls first! I love that kind of irony! Also, this was a fun watch and and the art is beautiful ❤️
Haha, he would deserve that! Thank you, we are happy you like it ^^
Idk...... 90% of anime power are destructive. You do you, don't take it too deep
oh yeah. we are definitely assuming a lot of good intentions here
Hey, What is the name of the anime from the thumbnail of this video?
"Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day"or "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai"
This is great! I'd love to see the full story!
Thank you! We would love to animate it too. But for now, curiosity can be well satisfied with the original book ;)
“Don’t fall in love.” Idiots, you just sighed your fate. I’m now very interested in this book.
Thankyou so much
thank you for watching :D
And now I want this to be an actual show. Honestly, when I get done with my current books, I'll have to look into this one. Looks like it will be a fantastic story.
Awww thank you! My team would be happy to make the show if there was a producer interested. Also, YES, do check the book. It is lovely.
This is spires me to make The Glass Gate type beats, music inspired by this novel. As you develop making the animation, I’ll have ideas to share to the community
I am glad to hear this was inspiring! The Glass Gate is a great story to work in.
Videos Gas ⛽️ 🔥
I loved this so much! 💚💚💚
Aww thank you!

Happy to hear that!! thank yooou
Estoy seguro que la falsa prometida romperá the rule number one
Quizás caerá él antes... (?)
So far so good i love the expressions :3
Thank you!! ^-^
Excellent pick for a scene to make readers curious!! Love the artstyle 😍
Thank you Lyserg! ^^ This part of the book was just gold and... well, and another parts of the book I liked had too many spoilers!
■■❤ Nice! ❤■■
Thank you! :D
This was a very fun animatic! I’d love to see this as a movie.
Yay! Thank you Ryan! (I would love that too :P)
EEEEEEE! I LOVE IT! They all look so good! The details! The accents!
YAAAAAY Thank you! The team did a great job ^-^
Wow well done
Aww thank you!
This was so well-done! I've already read the book, and this is the perfect trailer for it! (If I hadn't already read it, your trailer would have made me want to.) You are so talented!
Your comment means a lot! I loved the book myself, and I am glad the team and I could make it justice in other reader's eyes. Thank you so much
This is looking great so far! I can't wait to see this finished 😁🙌🏼
Thank you so much! So far, this is the "end" video which works as a book trailer. That, unless someone puts on the financial investment to animate the full things (movie? short series?).
What a dream this was!!!
Thank you Elle!
looks great 👍
Thank you!!
Hi Mar!
hi hi!
no to be confused with Eiichiro ODA name
Yessss
For a second there i thought you would say something, just something but i didn't expect shoujo anime 😂😂.
😂
Art blocks are tough, the more you want to get out of it, the harder it becomes. Thanks for sharing your perspective its interesting to see how other artists cope with that. Its also good to see that all artists go through the same and its not just me XD Sometimes social media cretes the ilusion that all artists are very productive all the time.
that is so true! seeing other artists on social media feels like a double edged sword. It can both be motivating or add pressure on you
For specific deadlines for art I've only had that those that were from working on other people's projects in which case I don't in which case I don't get art block because the reasons for it are non factors in that case. Drawing inbetweens doesn't require much in the way of creativity for example.
Deadlines are a definitive push to start (and finish) creating!
Thank you for sharing this.
thank you!
This is gold. Please keep this up if you can. Thank You for this.
Thank you! We will resume (live) interviews this year. So feel free to stay around if you want to see more :)
Unbelievably gorgeous, dramatic, and captivating! You deserve all the success you have earned. Congratulations on living your dream!
Thank you so much Steve!
Very beautiful. 👏👏👏
Thank you!
Mi bella amiga y amor platonico salidos desde colombia 😍🥰
I mean, Eren's flattening of 80 percent of the world was probably bad for the environment.
that is a VERY fair observation!
If Ash had had a non absent father, he would be Kira? Make sense..😂
there are just so many possibilities, right?
I'm also looking for my art style and watching this video was helpful, Thank you
I am so glad! Best wishes on your journey
Thank you for making this video, I'm learning animation so i plan to buy TVpaint but it really cost me a kidney : ( Glad to know i can use CSP for animation
You are welcome! Recently I did hear more animators liking CSP better than TVpaint in cost-value. I hope it works well with you!
This looks so hard . Making an animated video takes so much time. I really admire if you
Euge is great!
It was also featured in "Magic Knights Rayearth", 1st season.
Which landmark? The Tokyo Tower? I didn't know :D
Buenas tardes, 😂
👋
I love Clip Studio Paint, it’s my favorite software!
Same! I love it for animation.
❤
☺
So cool! I absolutely love Hanna Sandvig's writing!
Thank you! Also, YES, her novels are the loveliest. I could not resist this.
9:45 Ayo, same!! Old school pencil and paper animator here!
Bellamy, I definitely relate to your comments on directing where you wanna make it perfect but it's not realistic! Good analogy to the cooking show too! I had my own experience with directing a short (animatic-style) film for a club at school and I felt like it was awful because it didn't compare to my initial ideas for it and I had so little time to work on it!
Thank you so much for having me on! I loved chatting with you about animation!
Same! We need to do this again.
This was so beautiful to watch!!
Thank you ^-^
