This is quite the custom car collection, with some excellent painting, detailing, and modifications! your Red Baron looks especially good with a V8 equipped with triple blowers! 40th Like.

Nice builds I've seen a toy car in My child hood with such configuration with that Helmet and engine hotrod style the Red one when you talked about red Baron (unsure if my grandma stil has that toy car my best Geusse matchbox) it's nicer to see it bigger size. Thanks for triggering a flash back of probably 20+- years ago

The Red Baron is probably one of Tom Daniel' most widely recognized designs ever. It was made in model kit form in multiple scales as well as cartoon, and it was also a Hot Wheel car for many years. It was a huge part of many of us' childhood!

Great stuff in this video. I had already found your web-page a while ago and was immediately impressed. Via KZread of course, even more fun because you can explain the story behind each model built. 👍

Thanks for the Showrod video upload Tim ! Very creative mods on those original kits ! Lots of eye candy just on that one shelf ! Maybe you could & will highlite one Showrod at a time in future upcoming videos ? Definitely brought back good memories for me of building a lot of Monogram's Tom Daniel kits back in the early 1970s ! At my age then those Monograms were the easiest builds for me . Have a good Day !

I grew up on Tom Daniel kits back in the 70's, and still love them all. I built some of the AMT show rod kits this year that I have never done, and had a blast! I really like the "Depth Charger".

I never get tired of looking around at the stuff you have displayed. This is the first time I noticed your cabinet with Beany (without Cecil) in it. I remember those cartoons and I had to look to see that I still have a VHS tape of some of their cartoons. We must be close in age, I'll be 69 this weekend.

No way!!! I think we closed that store in about 85' or 86' maybe? That was the old "ice cream store" look with rotating bar stools at counters. That white display cabinet I have the diecast stuff in is from there too!!!! LOL!! I managed the store in Altamonte Springs until early 87'. Pearle was a good company back then.

Too Kool Tim ! I was surfing KZread when your " tour" video appeared. If I lived in your area I would definitely utilize your services as an optometrist ! Though I'd probably always want to tour your collection housed at your business during my appointment ! 😂 TONS of Kool stuff ! That " Uncertain T'rantula " design of yours is Kool ! If you still have the built model , maybe you can please highlight that in one of your upcoming videos ? If you keep building those large scale kits you'll need to open another office for display space ! 😊 Thanks again for sharing your common passions & your collections with us !

really cool shop tour, tons of wild cool stuff and nifty tools as well, that quad hands seems like a great tool to have handy, i have 3 of the 3rd hand styles, but that one would be a great helper, super cool seeing the older cartons cover arts and stuff too, and well done on the uncertain T rantula contest win

I've always liked Billys bikes, they are raw, rideable, and artistic in the off-the-wall fashion I enjoy. Good mix of fat tires with old school parts. His KZread channel is very informative, lot of history. His shop was in Melbourne, just an hour South of me. He and his friends used to ride past my shop all the time back in the day during bike weeks in Daytona. A friend of mine took a photo of him thats been hanging on my shop wall for over 20 years.

Well, my "studios" are spread between two locations, and multiple spaces at home! (I'm a mess...) I have my small work area which is in my walk-in closet at home, which is going to relocate out to the front of our bedroom in a few months I think. I have a complete work shop in my garage where I paint and fabricate stuff. I also have a complete setup in my lab at my office, mostly small sanding/grinding/drilling tools etc; In my downtime from my optical work I can work on some model stuff. My lab is full of memorabelia from the 60's-70's when I grew up. I figure I spend half my life there, might as well be surrounded by things I like! I'm going to be making some changes there soon as well. Maybe I'll do a walk video one day, but it's not too exciting....LOL.

I built one of those large scale Chargers years ago. Someone must have given it to me because it's not really a kit I would buy. I made it into a cop / Trooper car - had to use a lightbar meant for an RC toy. Painted it all black. It came out good but yeah - it's not the best model kit in any way or fashion LOL. I always like your workspace - it makes for a great background when doing a video 👍
