If you could fill me in with more details I'd be happy to try and give some direction. Unfortunately, obd1 is rudimentary when compared to obd2

@@PurrfectAutoTustin79 obd 1 for a 1990 gmc c1500 I have a snap on scanner just don’t get power when connected to my gm obd 1

@@sega2229 that's a whole different game if you don't have power to the port. Have you checked the fuses and relays?

@@PurrfectAutoTustin79 I know that I need a wire to connect from the obd 1 connector to the battery power but I don’t have that wire maybe that might be my issue

I had a lot of repairs where i probably ended up spending more than i should have, because i either messed up or had to spend money on tools.
