  Thanks for your efforts to unbox and review this version of the FX802 Eagle which I was considering buying. There is some model number confusion as there are many more YT videos of another FX802: a "Piper Cub" form factor aircraft. I was glad to find yours with the Eagle and it's distinctive design. I appreciate you are not "Pro" KZreadrs but between your two videos, I actually gained enough knowledge to confirm my decision to give the Eagle a try as my first RC airplane. During Covid lockdown, I bought a small "Quad", specifically designed for indoor use and got a taste of the hobby. Keep your videos coming. Edit: I have found this aircraft is more commonly designated "FX818"

  Thanks. I do plan to improve the quality of the vids, but I've gotta get better organized & learn more. ATM I'm doing a bit of a hash of my vids. This vid was back when I didn't know how to angle my phone for a full frame vid, so that's why it's not the best. I don't have this two channel aircraft anymore. I gave it to my nephew. I really wanted the glider that's a bit bigger & that's meant to come with LEDs for night flying, but I ended up with the small baby one that comes with the LEDs to install. Later I bought the Night Walrus, which is an awesome 4 channel glider with a 1.4m wingspan, but I have to figure out how to activate my gyro, because I'm still a novice, & something as nice as my Night Walrus I don't wanna wreck. I've also got a few custom gliders I wanna build & install LEDs on. Later on when or if I get good at flying I wanna do some professional vids, not just maiden flights, but pro stuff where I'm not crashing, & possibly doing some acrobatics. When I get to that level I plan to join a club for tips. Cheers for your interest!

  @@thediscoverworkshop_asmr1096 Even pro's crash, constantly. It's the nature of the hobby. If you are making a video, your attention is divided between flying the plane and keeping everything on camera. Just keep trying. Every failure is a lesson learned.

  I'll have to do another vid about it & include different perspectives to present whether it offers very good visibility in low light conditions. Might be a rock crawling off-road style vid with lots of different camera angles.

  Needs a gyro which if Rlaarlo put one in stock in the first place. They would have not received such brutal feedback.

  Just a suggestion mate. Probably best to add a video-out cable to your camera which feeds into a large screen placed where you can clearly see it but it's out of the camera view. That way you can see clearly what you are recording - no out-of-frame/obscured useless video. At least you have the camera fixed and the area fairly well lit so you are 1-up on most folks with their drunken blurry efforts. Added a like for encouragement. 😜😊

  Tail heavy maybe, check your cg. I had the same plane a while ago and flew it a couple of times before crashing it, breaking the landing gear, and not really fixing and flying it again. Might buy another one and get back onto it.

  1 thing you young fellahs might be able to enlighten an Old Fart (who doesn't even own a mobile phone) like me about is WTF you insist on videoing in "portrait" mode (meaning that the posted video covers less than 25% of a standard 16 by 9 monitor screen) rather than in "landscape" mode where the video would cover most of the screen?

  That's an early video where I didn't realize that how I held my phone effects how the video comes out. My brother just recently filmed from my phone not knowing this & messed up a more up to date video, so as beginners we've made a few mistakes, but we plan to improve the quality of our future videos once we're better organized

  I wish you fellahs well as to how this project (and your channel) goes BUT... unless you were on the lunatic juice when you made this I'd suggest that you check out the videos by "Bavarian RC" to get an idea on what a really competent video on the subject entails. And remember that Digital Video Recording today means that you can do it over hundreds of times until you get it right at NO extra cost! 😉 Done well these make RC toys comparable to store-bought RTF units many times their total cost - and repair frames are dirt cheap! Added a Sub just in case your skills do eventually get up to Peter Jackson standard. 😱😊

  I hate that trend where the mags are anodized black instead of just leaving them the nice polished alloy color, but with toys that trend can be easily fixed via a silver paint pen. Paint pens come in handy as well for adding bright colors to small parts that can be lost, like props & things to drones & planes. Some stuff can be too camouflaged.
