Ricardo Perez I watched it and it was awful for the following reasons: 1. The caracters are forgetable; 2. The story isn't interesting; 3. The SFX make me puke; 4. I had the impression of watching a copié collé of the beast from 20.000 fathom. Sériously my eyes couldn't take it anymore

A long time ago people believe that the T-rex walks up straight with its tail dragging on the ground like the original Godzilla, but we now know that the T-Rex’s back was horizontal to the ground in a running posture! They made Godzilla a cool nasty looking T-rex!!!!!

Alright, allow me to explain this to you in a nice, friendly manner: Zilla is being portrayed as an ANIMAL in the movie. Animals in real life DON'T possess invincibility factors and they can't produce Atomic Breath out of their mouths. Those two trademark abilities of Godzilla don't occur in real life; they are scientific IMPOSSIBILITIES. Therefore, and since Zilla is being portrayed as an animal, he's given the behavioral characteristics of such. Whenever ANY animal senses danger in one way or another, said animal's first reaction is to FLEE. There's no cowardice to it at all, it's NATURAL ANIMAL INSTINCT. Ask any professional zoologist or biologist, and he/she will most likely tell you more or less the same thing I'm talking about here. I'm truly not being mean here, I'm being nice. I'm just trying to at least have you understand why Zilla was portrayed the way he was, that's all.

The nuclear testings near French Polynesia should've given Godzilla (Zilla) the ability to breath atomic fire. They had him breath atomic fire of the animated series, so I don't season any reason why the same couldn't be done of the 1998 film too.
