If you’re planning on tipping at the end, should you tell them that’s your plan on the first day so they don’t think they’re getting stiffed? Also, if someone from your butler team is on their day off on your last day, will they get their tip when they come back to work?
Hi, @speedyninetyone. Yeah you could just mention you will take care of them at the end. I just never have worried about it and I think most people tip one amount at the end of their stay. I know they work as a team so I just hand the one butler that sees us out on the last day the full tip for the butler team. :)

Going to the Barbados Royale in October, we are meeting friends we made from Sandals Curacao. This will be our 8th Sandals. Grenada was our best but I’m thinking this Barbados one is going to be the best ever. Short 15 min ride from the airport too, not like the 2 hour drive for Saint Lucia🙄. Saint Lucia was really nice though.

Yeah the short drives are nice. I also died on the two hour plus drive back from Sandals South Coast after drinking so much at breakfast (Smoothies, coffee, water) and then no stops on the bumpy ride to the airport. :)
@@GrizAllInclusive We went to Curacao last November. Infiniti pools are great and as usual made a lot of new friends. We are actually going to Royal Barbados with a couple we met at Curacao. Grenada was our best Sandals but I really think Royal Barbados is going to top it from the videos we are watching.

Great video! We were supposed to go to the sandals is Saint Lucia this week for our honeymoon but our flights got canceled due to the hurricane that was passing through. The only other option our agent found was the butler suite at sandals Barbados! Can’t wait and your video got me and my wife even more excited.👍
Love the Saint Lucia one but the 2 hour ride from the airport is horrible. Look into taking the helicopter which is only a 10-15 flight. We had friends that did it and it’s well worth the extra $150.

Visit and book another trip while you are there, it’s cheaper booking on a Sandals property and you can always postpone it. We are meeting friends in Barbados we made from our last trip at Sandals Curacao. Have fun buddy!!

Glad to see everything went so smoothly. We are headed to Beaches Ocho Rios on July 8th and they are anticipating a hurricane to possibly hit Jamaica. We won’t be there when/if it hits but about 4-5 days later. We have planned this trip for 2 years with our 3,8,10 year old children and hope the same happens with this resort if they do get hit.

Great video. We were just at this remarkable resort. The rooms are huge. it has great pools in a beautiful setting. Our butlers were wonderful.

@@GrizAllInclusive we stayed in a one bedroom garden butler suite with media room. With butler service we were able to use the boat transfer from the airport which was great.

We went in April. It was our first Sandals trip. Our only complaint was we couldn’t get into Butch’s even though we tried to get reservations as soon as we got there and every day after that. The ride to and from the airport is a bit harrowing. We immediately booked another trip after we got home. We picked Emerald Bay for the next one.

Yeah having a butler category room at Saint Vincent just for the boat transfer to and from the resort might be the way to go 😀. Keep in mind this is an island thst basically just opened up internationally to tourism . They’re not thst well developed as the other islands . Give them some time , use the ride to enjoy the simplicity in which the people live , the scenario from the airport to the resort passing through the various communities . This is also a volcanic island so there are hill and but how many places can you visit and get while and black sand beaches . Venture off the resort and enjoy

Hey @benderprofessionalservice9018. Have an awesome trip to Sandals in July. Tips: 1. I would bring an old book or two and when you get up early to get your favorite beach chair toss that old book on the chair to hold it. 2. Plan your dining out so you know what is open on which days when you arrive and then get with your butler or concierge team to book those dinners when you are there. 3. There are a few negative reviews in the comment section here from recent trips to Sandals Barbados related to service and staffing. If you have an issue please meet with the front desk manager or GM of the resort to get it resolved while you are there, not after you leave. Hopefully everything is great but if it is not speak up to the management team while onsite at Sandals. :) Steve

Fly with virgin from the uk,beautiful st vincent, st vincent is a beautiful place,once you have visited you will want to go back,and sandles is a fantastic resort, and very friendly vincentian people

@coop4440 You can't go wrong. Emerald Bay is closer travel time if you are coming from the US. Barbados has more going on and you have two resorts literally connected to each other. I loved both

Carry no ammo or weapons. You will do 12 long years in prison for just 2 rounds of forgotten ammo in your luggage. Not worth a trip there.
Yeah don't bring Ammo or weapons to Turks and Caicos. Lots of cases in the news lately of people forgetting to take stuff out of their luggage.

It's beautiful! However, it Looks like a very boring and quiet resort, but I could be wrong. Do they have day or night parties here?
It's defiantly off the beaten path @Whittingham_loveyourself. They do have activities, shows, different themed party nights. I did the silent disco one night and it was.a blast, Karaoke in the disco one night (goes till 2 AM). The disco club has something going every night until 2 AM.

Warning to anyone watching this video, do not go to this sandals property. The service by staff is subpar compared to other sandal locations. I’m still here at royal after 4 nights and I can’t wait to go home tomorrow. Very understaffed, butler service was not elite, bars constantly missing main ingredients to popular drinks, towels are no where to be found at the infinity pool nor both beach areas. People look visibly upset throughout the property. Again this is warning from someone who watches YT reviews and have been in multiple butler suite level rooms at other sandal properties.
That sounds horrible @Andydatank. If you are still there, get with the GM ASAP so they can address this.
I was there 2 weeks ago. I agree this property was horrible. Bad food. Always out of stuff. Constantly got our orders wrong. OUR walkout lagoon suite had no wifi except for 2 days of out 7 night stay. TV worked only 2 nights. Our phone was never working so we couldn't order room service. People above us were partying all night and speaking about their private parts. First 2 nights of our stay we got NO sleep. Had to miss our paid excursion as it would be unsafe to go snorkel all day on no sleep in the ocean. Then we got berated by the travel excursion lady for canceling as we were sitting at our royal barbados concierge desk discussing our concerns about our safety for that excursion with no sleep. The door to our room had a high clearance and you could see people walking by. Which also means u can hear everyone's discussions, the heat and humidity plummets into the room and allows the singing night frogs to hop right in. Yes we had frogs coming into our room in middle of the night. Yet concierge never fixed the door to stop this. Can't say we enjoyed our vacation. We were quite miserable and exhausted. For the price we paid, we expected better service. People everywhere were complaining about the food. IT was the same everywhere u went. Meat was consistently overlooked or undercooked. Employees were not looking happy Here. People also complained about the property and nearly all the fountains weren't working. The main pools were green and looked disgusting to swim in. Which is why we stayed at our royal barbados lagoon pool. Luckily it was kept clean. I could go on about more issues. But simply will not recommend this resort. It was a HUGE let down and a waste of our money and time.

We just got back from Sandals St Vincent and it was amazing. I'll defiantly have to look at my 2025 Sandals Resort reviews articles and recommendations because so many other Sandals have great staff.

@janesdresser8843. I stayed on the Royal side but found myself on the Barbados side most of the time. I would stay at either. It's really just one large resort and I don't even know why they break it up into two. :)
I think I would go to the Barbados side as it seems more peaceful. Love you video you have such a calming voice & no background music which can ruin it. Absolutely brilliant ❤

That's great! I love when they keep the original great features and just add to it over the years. Yeah Exuma really is a relaxing place and I was surprised how close it was to Miami.

Hey @mileslawson7867. for this video I changes to a new camera set up. I use to use. very nice Sony A7C camera, Gimbal, etc and that set up was massive and heavy. For this video I switched to a small DJI Osmo pocket 3. It's so small and still has great quality. Have an awesome day!

@Bunchy771. I'll put together another video of the different rooms. With this being two resorts in one it can be full but even then with so much to do you really don't run into a bunch of people. I did film this at like 7 AM so not to many people out yet. :)

That's a good question. I'll have to look back at the videos. I know when I took my family we stayed in this room two different times and the kids always had a way to charge their devices.

How was it?
We just got back from Sandals Saint Vincent and we immediately booked our next Sandals vacation. We chose Emerald Bay because we want to do the Swim with the Pigs excursion. We booked the same room you have.
I'll be at Sandals St Vincent in about two weeks. Looking forward to seeing that new Sandals Resort. My wife has done the swim with the pigs TWICE. I still need to do it. When I was at Sandals Emerald Bay I was in meetings most of the time learning about Sandals Weddings, Golf, Scuba programs so I did not have any pig time :(. Have a blast!!! :)
I hope you get to go to Sandals St. Vincent soon… anxiously waiting to see any type of long form videos on that one but none so far😅

There was a little but not much and I also am up early when they are just starting to groom the beaches. I am sure an hour or so later they have them looking pretty close to perfect :)

Nice video. Thank you we will be there in 12 more days on the Royal Side in the same unit as the Sky Pool Bar and La Parisian in a Penthouse Crystal Lagoon Ocean View Butler Suite. We have 6 other Sandals travel friends joining us We met them all in Sandals pools over the last 8 years and now we Sandals together. We will be there 10 Celebrating our 5th Anniversary. We’re both 71 and usually Sandals in Negril. Hope we can see and do it all. Negril and Royal Caribbean Montego Bay are both small and easy to maneuver, so this will be very different for us. ❤🎉😊
Hi Mary, you will have 4, make that 5 with the sky pool, main pools here all with different vibes. Some are swim up bars, some on the beach and some tucked away. Oh and warm bath temp pools too. It’s perfect for your anniversary ❤️. I was at Negril literally a week before Sandals Barbados. I still need to make that video, but Sandals Barbados is so much different than Sandals Negril or Sandals Royal Caribbean. You are in a great location at Sandals Royal Barbados. You are close to the main area and the main feature pool and beach too with your room. Oh and the sky pool is nice if you all want your own pool area with your friends too. Great sunsets too from up there. The most difficult thing for me vs Sandals Negril and Royal Caribbean is navigating both Barbados resorts. The resorts are large and some areas are a challenge to find or seem to have just one odd way to get to them. Negril you just walk left or right along the beach and everything is there. Barbados is tropical jungle paths which is beautiful but takes you a while to find things. It’s beautiful, clean, feels new. I feel like I am over using the word beautiful. Let me know what you think, oh and depending on where you are flying from the flight compared to Negril feels longer. Well it is longer but it feels much longer than Negril and American has no in flight entertainment screens but you can connect your device to movies, etc. or try and sleep. Have an amazing time. That's going to be an amazing 30th BDay :). Yes they do have nightly entertainment and also there is a piano bar open late, Karaoke we did that one night in Lovers Lane, Bowling, DJ, etc. Watch out for the rum punch at the swim up bar, wow that caught me off guard quick.
